The bunch of you are not REALLY “Democrats”. You’re only “Democratic” when you have a dominant political majority, 60%+ of the voting-bloc. But as soon as you enter the minority, lose the popular vote, you become violent and irrational. So your ‘loyalty’ is not really to “Democracy”.
Your loyalty is now fully exposed, as only to pure political power. That’s the only thing you are about. You don’t ACTUALLY have a means of Legitimacy. You have no real loyalty to “DEMOCRACY”. Your ethics (are lack thereof) is exposed.
You are so confused, I’m surprised you don’t pick a fight with your image in the mirror in the morning!

I would agree that ideological dictatorships like fascisms appeal to a poverty of the spirit. The blandness of ideology stands in the way.
Aristocracies, monarchies, and democracies have often produced good art. Even though that is of course not objective. Your example of Russian writers doesn’t speak for democracy, the Czars rule wasn’t democratic.
