This topic will be like one of those books, you make a choice, wrong choice and you will not continue, or at least I hope you don’t. I feel this way we can all stay on the path with the same train of thought? Sound good?
First step.
To move to the next round you must believe in Absolutes. Why? because when one says you can’t be sure, that itself is an absolute. So you can believe absolutes exist, even though you may not be able to prove that other than saying a denial just re posits absolutes.
So who agrees with absolutes? (after this we will continue, and well see who’s left to discuss a topic productively) I feel this will weed out much. You get what I mean? There’s no use in discussing matters on truth with people who don’t believe in truth.
Yea, I think you’ll have less then five people as nearly everyone here seems to use absolutes for their own argument but will contradict themselves and claim they don’t exist except in the human mind when the argument goes against them.
You already know I believe in Absolutes, so count me in.
Ok, cool. I think many have already counted themselves out, but I’ll wait to see if one or two more will join and then we can have a good discussion while using absolutes as a base.
Something you claim not to believe in, so maybe you should define it.
The simplest definition I can think of is something that was not created, no beginning, no end. When most people refer to this they use the capitol A in Absolute.
