No, they already surrendered, and we bombed them out of rage for Pearl harbor. The fight in the name of rage is usually if never for an honorable cause.

Hiroshima was, even though they attacked us dishonorably first, they still surrendered and we had little strategical reason to bomb them aside from revenge/anger.

there are different historical views about Hiroshima…what evidence do you have for revenge/anger…why was an atomic bomb used
Oh, thanks for the dates. Looks like I was wrong. They were talking to Russia about entreaties of peace more favorable to them though.
"The surrender of the Empire of Japan on September 2, 1945, brought the hostilities of World War II to a close. By the end of July 1945, the Imperial Japanese Navy was incapable of conducting major operations and an Allied invasion of Japan was imminent. While publicly stating their intent to fight on to the bitter end, Japan’s leaders, (the Supreme Council for the Direction of the War, also known as the “Big Six”), were privately making entreaties to the neutral Soviet Union to mediate peace on terms more favorable to the Japanese. Meanwhile, the Soviets were preparing to attack Japanese forces in Manchuria and Korea in fulfillment of promises they had secretly made to the United States and the United Kingdom at the Tehran and Yalta Conferences.
On August 6, 1945, the United States dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Late in the evening of August 8, 1945, in accordance with the Yalta agreements, but in violation of the Soviet–Japanese Neutrality Pact, the Soviet Union declared war on Japan, and soon after midnight on August 9, 1945, the Soviet Union invaded the Imperial Japanese puppet state of Manchukuo. Later that same day, the United States dropped a second atomic bomb, this time on the Japanese city of Nagasaki. The combined shock of these events caused Emperor Hirohito to intervene and order the Supreme Council for the Direction of the War to accept the terms the Allies had set down in the Potsdam Declaration for ending the war. After several more days of behind-the-scenes negotiations and a failed coup d’état, Emperor Hirohito gave a recorded radio address across the Empire on August 15. In the radio address, called the Gyokuon-hōsō (“Jewel Voice Broadcast”), he announced the surrender of Japan to the Allies.
On August 28, the occupation of Japan by the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers began. The surrender ceremony was held on September 2, aboard the United States Navy battleship USS Missouri (BB-63), at which officials from the Japanese government signed the Japanese Instrument of Surrender, thereby ending the hostilities. Allied civilians and military personnel alike celebrated V-J Day, the end of the war; however, some isolated soldiers and personnel from Imperial Japan’s far-flung forces throughout Asia and the Pacific islands refused to surrender for months and years afterwards, some even refusing into the 1970s. The role of the atomic bombings in Japan’s surrender, and the ethics of the two attacks, is still debated. The state of war between Japan and the Allies formally ended when the Treaty of San Francisco came into force on April 28, 1952. Four more years passed before Japan and the Soviet Union signed the Soviet–Japanese Joint Declaration of 1956, which formally brought an end to their state of war."
USA must begin to plant the seeds of spirit and soul.
USA is a culture of no culture. I blame the cultural marxists, as expected. Who else would be responsible for destroying any young culture already sprouted in the states? Well, we do have the Amish, who maybe a positive sign of future developments.
Since I asked the question, but nobody answered, I will answer my own question. What is spirit and soul? Spirit is the masculine form of essence, soul the feminine form of essence. Males have spirits (sperm). Females have souls (eggs). And only through the cooperation of these opposites can any future be had, by definition. So spirit and soul is the essence of any society, culture, specie, organism, etc. USA has no cooperation, no state or federal “sex education”. USA has no consensus of religion or church. No spirituality. No faith. No generality, no consensus, no state of spiritual affairs.
Separation of church and state should not mean “destroy all church”. It should mean, recognizing the fundamental difference between church (faith) and state (policy).
I propose a simple solution. Combine church, state, science, and philosophy into one. Bind all together. Unify all forces and drives. Unify all powers into a single direction.
Create meaning. Create purpose. Create vision. Create memories (memes). Create the future. Nothing is impossible to me.
Nothing should become impossible for you. Absolute freedom, unleash the power of the spirits and souls. Grow Man to His highest potential. Raise sons into gods and daughters into goddesses.
Only a powerful, spiritual leader can hope to achieve this.
I hate to have to tell you, but that “solution” is the essence of the problem.
You propose to form a God of Man. It is by the efforts of those Godwannabes that all wars, disease, and misery have come to be. And it is still going on.
So remind me, why have church again? When people can practice being spiritual individually and on their own? Why does it have to be organized/structured?
I hate to break it to you, but men are already gods, and women are already goddesses. The true problem is, they haven’t realized it yet. Hence all of that “create” you are speaking of. We have the ability to learn, and create. Those are two traits of “god”. If we had the knowledge of which to create a species, which one day we might, most likely. If I had the knowledge to create a human being without birth, what does that make me?
Because 95% of the human population represent peasants and commoners, who need to be instructed about basic moral & ethical principles in life, such as “thou shalt not murder” or “thou shalt not steal”. Think of them as animals, pretending to be human.
Because wisdom, philosophy, and the highest education of all, is usually a social endeavor at some point. A master (teacher) is defined in relation with a slave (student), as a slave is defined in relation with a master. Sons and daughters are not born with the highest education. Education is a life endeavor, and a primary challenge to a rare few (who eventually become wise).
Because each generation must become re-indoctrinated to obey basic moral laws. Animals forget about “thou shalt not murder”, and must relearn it. Only a rare group of humans don’t actually need the instruction or reminder. Most people do need constant reminders. Because most people are forgetful about morality and ethics. Morality and ethics are words and concepts lost on the lower mind, the unintelligent.
The regular human animal, the peasant, commoner, hedonist, or modernist, doesn’t casually or usually think about “Morality”. It doesn’t cross their mind. And when it does, it is burdensome and repugnant. Most people, most of humanity, hates intellectual, philosophical, or “higher” topics. Because most people do already act on instinct, and prefer to remain animals. Many (hedonists) even take a special pride in their emotions, and are proud of their emotional outbursts.
You sound like a typical narcissist of the USA, the “millennial” generation spawned from the “baby boomer” generation.
I disagree, in the sense that I have a very unique and rare definition of the ‘gods’. I define “god” as “beyond thyself”, greater than thyself, superior or higher than thyself. You are presenting “god” as “within thyself”. You are presenting USA sons and daughters as “already gods”, already higher than…what? Higher than whom? What have USA sons and daughters achieved, already? I claim that the USA state of spiritual is void, nihilistic, hateful.
I will use the “spree-shooter” as evidence and proof of my claim. This “millennial” generation is hateful, spiteful, narcissistic, and hedonistic. There is very little to love, value, or feel proud about, as a whole nation, country, and state.
Well that’s a good point, but, you must put such purpose in motion. Instead of speaking hypothetically, go and and do, create a posthuman organism, a human becoming.
I agree with genetic engineering, mixing species together, playing god. But the work must still be done. Create something. Create somebody. Inspire.
They’re hateful because they were not taught viable knowledge. A lot of them do not question beyond their ‘beliefs’. Everything derives out of knowledge and influence. We could teach people morals and to be the opposite of those things without structured religion or a ‘god’. I love humanity, I value knowledge, I am proud to be Earthling/Universe.
The only thing higher than us is the universe. Then again we are the universe as well, experiencing itself subjectively and individually through physical manifestation into frequency, vibration, and energy based beings. I’m not selfish to understand that we are practically god. The proof is the Fibonacci, it shows we’re all connected via the geometry of all, all life. We govern reality because we have the most influence on it. Just because I claim what humanity is, does not mean I do not recognize how unimportant we are individually and as a whole. We know little to nothing at all, there is an entire sea of knowledge, yet people choose to live working burger joints instead of striving after it. Or perhaps they didn’t get a choice at all. since their minds we’re fed/influenced and told what to do in reality and ‘life’ through society.
We have the potential to become self-gods. If people strived after knowledge and become, rather than adopting “what is” they would know hate, spite, greed, narcissism really benefits nothing.
“The further the spiritual evolution of mankind advances, the more certain it seems to me that the path to genuine religiosity does not lie through the fear of life, and the fear of death, and blind faith, but through striving after rational knowledge.” - Albert Einstein
“A human being is a part of a whole, called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” - Albert Einstein
In other words, people need to strive for knowledge and free themselves of the “just self” thinking to embrace all of life. They must see through the flies they swat away, through the animals that are slaughtered, through the children who suffer, etc. Just in general embrace all life as a whole, instead of selfishly thinking everything revolves around them, when in reality nothing does other than the things we create to.
Like Sub said, from the other forums. People live for themselves, instead of living for the universe.
