yeah, merry christmas, aryans!
anll you other fuckers can burn in hell cos youre not the majority!
so target was boycotted by christians until they changed their holiday slogan back to “merry christmas”
is the war on christmas exagerated bleeding-heart democratic politically correct idiocy or is calling the establishment of majority power over all “the war on christmas” exageration?
(rhetorical question you bitches who were about to answer)
screw majority…actually that sounds like a good idea, those catholic school girls can be pretty naughty after a few drinks…
with that, i would like to wish you: HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
What I find particularly funny is that in the UK there have been various nonsensical PC problems (such as renaming Christmas Trees as ‘Holiday Trees’) because the white liberal Guardian reading wankers don’t want to offend the Muslims and the Hindus and the rest, but the Muslims and the Hindus and the rest have all said, quite explicitly, that they aren’t offended, that they are happy for people to celebrate Christmas and even (shock horror) they are celebrating it themselves…
Of course ‘cultural harmony during the season of goodwill’ doesn’t make a good headline…
While I’m a christian I think it’s stupid that target was boycotted just because they changed their slogan to Happy Holidays. It seems to me that there are more important thing for christians to complain about than the holiday slogan of a store.
Really funny, on The Daily Show w/ John Stewart, they played a cut of Bill O’Reilley (sp?) saying how unoffensive, mundane, and simplistic the two simple words “Merry Christmas” are; that no one should be offended to hear them.
A moment later, after a comment from Stewart, they played a cut of one of Bill’s guests saying “Christians are not offended by the phrase ‘Happy Holidays’,” to which Bill replied: “Yes they are! Absolutely they are!”
Cut to Stewart just peering into the camera in silence.
Yeah, I know it’s the thing that depresses me most about other christians. It seems like they have nothing to do but bitch, complain, and protesting everything they find bad. Anyway I don’t see any problem using Happy Holidays.
It is a sad commentary, but that is fundamentalism at its’ worst. What is really disturbing is that this mentality has enough power to make a national retailer bow to its wishes. Hopefully, the pendulum will begin to swing back toward the middle soon. Fundamentalist power will turn to arrogance, and defeat itself. The American people may ignore the stench for awhile, but when it gets stuck in their face, they will react. Fundamentalism will always be with us, but it will return to whispering in the corners just as other countless ‘social reform’ movements have done. The sooner the better. Actually the more inanities they put out there, the sooner their fall from credibility, so bring on all the Pat Robertson/Jerry Fallwell “wisdom”. Nothing like a bright hot spotlight to let them be seen for who and how they are.
The problem is that some motherfuckers are bending to the will of the weak instead of the will of the strong. Personally, I don’t even believe in Christ as Lord and Savior but it pisses me off when I observe pathetic attempts to bow to the politically correct initiatives of liberals who don’t want to offend the smallest of groups.
I want to be able to say Christmas without pause…
I don’t want to consider every last souls feelings just because there’s somebody out there who may feel left out. Well, boo-fucking-who. Including “Kwanza” or “Click Clack Day” and “Christmas” as part of the Holidays is fucking pathetic.
This isn’t a war on Christmas. It’s a war on political correctness.
With that, let me just say:
FUCK YOU LIBERALS! AND HAPPY NEW YEARS!
ONWARD TOWARDS BOWING TO THE WEAK.
