This is psychological warfare. The worst thing to do to a Christian is not to accuse him of believing in fairy tales, but to make Jesus into a “real man”, a flesh and blood human with no “magical” power. To do so, is the most devastating, psychological attack. People believe in Jesus because they need this delusion. If you make Jesus into a flesh and blood “real man” not unlike any other man today, that is where the true death of Christianity is found.
To make Jesus ‘real’, to take away the possibility of belief, by reducing all into real life, mechanical, physical terms, by associating the divine with the mundane…that is what dissolves Christianity and all other religions.
People do not believe in Jesus to make him real; Christians believe in Jesus to make him unreal.
Regardless, the psychological warfare continues. I never said it would be easy to accomplish this task (to kill Philosophers and the roots of societies).
In fact, if my thesis is true, then this should be the most difficult thing achievable for any (other) society/civilization.
All societies, even if fallen into anarchy, even if destroyed, immediately become replaced by another (conquering) society.
If Christianity dies then a new religion will replace it. In fact, there is no other choice.
People need their delusions and drugs, their opiates for the masses. People need their dreams and ideals. “Keep hope alive”.
