Thinking about infinity, . . .

I was struck by the fact that we name and define everything and yet, at some point in numerology, we go so far on the number scale that there are no longer any names or defintions.

Unless . . . somebody spends there lifetime inventing things like quacktillion and quackwillion

thinking about numbers with no name is silly, but it makes me laugh.

makes me think that numbers are pointless and there is no separation between any one thing. I so wish I invented that idea . . . and just ran with it.

I’m confused by the fact that a certain infinity can be bigger than another infinity.

I dunno, ask my logic teacher, he explained it to us in some illogical manner.

Infinity is the most misunderstood thing I know of. Infinity is not a number, it is not an amount, it is a SPEED.

Infinity is unreachable by the finite. It is infitesimally ‘small’ and infinitely ‘large’. It is outside of the finite.

Infinity is nonsense.

Infinity is a concept, and one that can be useful in certain circumstances. Mathematically, it’s always destructive.

Word games using infinity are worthless curiosities.

It is nonsense when placed in the context of math. Numbers are merely symbols. When seen as a speed, it is real. We all know that motion is real, and everywhere.

For motion to be infinite, time must be infinite. But the concept of infinite time is equally absurd to any other concept of infinity.

Time is motion imparted from the electron/photon relationship. Our ‘time’ is our speed. The speed of the fourth dimension is relative to the tick of the time in spatial dimensions. There are infinite motions, all within eachother.

What is in the fourth dimension does not move, the dimension does.
SPAD solved. Our speed is what we get from it.
Quasars are in a different motion than us, yet we co-exist. The Universe is a different ‘size’ to the quasar, because of it’s speed.

Infinity is a speed.

funny, I always think of infinity as a image replicated by another image, upon another image, similar to using a mirror to reflect another mirror. The image goes on into . . . bingo. . .infinity

Each reflection would be a number, on and on. The only way to verify the reflections is with motion. Motion is speed.
The images you would see don’t go into infinity, they come from it.

The dreaded words, I dont fully understand . . . let me get this straight, motion is speed, okay, but are we verifying the refections through the distance of sight then.

saying infinity comes from it, rather that going into it, sounds right, but I’ve never thought of it that way, so can you explain please.

I’m in humble thinker mode . . .

Every reflection on every mirror must have a location. The location makes it spatial and the spatial exists where there is motion.

Everything that is spatial, or in motion, has limits. Everything has different limits.
So what a human can do defines the human’s dimension. The photon shares our Universe but is in a different dimension.
All of these dimensions, which are speeds, are in between the infinitesimal and the infinite. Infinity is a singularity which is unreachable by the spatial but gets it’s motion from it. Infinity can be approached but not reached.

It is the manifestation of speed.

Thanks muscular philosopher. That gives a good picture of time, as well.

The easiest way to define time is to say it is the speed difference of the dimension and infinity. Our speed is our pace, our pace is what the fourth dimension sets it at. Time is a literal motion.
