Not sure what I should call it though, I’ve reffered to it before as Imperialism, but thats not specific enough of a word.

Cosmopolitan Imperialism perhaps. Even thats not really specific enough.

There are a few reasons why I like the term, one is that much of my political inspiration comes from the ideologies and policies of ancient Empires another is that I see expansionism as acceptable under the right circumstances, and the last is that in truth much of “my” political ideology is a collection of differant segments of already established political ideology.

I see merits in many systems that are often seen as opposed to one another, one thing i’ve noticed though is even with the absolutist lables many of them claim to be, you can often see how they vary in pratice.

Some ideolgies gather a lot of support when they speak to the passions of people, communism being a notorious example of this.

For a politcal ideology to survive though it must be tailored to operate in the mundane as well as in the Epic.

To be prepared for the negligance and misinterperatation that will inevitably come and preparing for the worst, rather than speaking theoreticall about how good something “could” be if everyone just _____ and _____…

One thing i’ve done when assembled my political ideolgy ,rather than choosing ideas simply because they appeal to me (as most people of course do).

One problem when “creating” or working with any politcal ideology is that they are often conceived by philosophers and then carried out later largely by people whos simply follow their preconceptions.

Don’t you mean that a political structure works best when it can psychologically manipulate a population? After all that is what winning minds and hearts is.

I guess that would deterrmine how far you stretch the term “psycholigical manipulation”.

I mean what falls under that term? You could consider influencing someone with your ideas “psychological manipulation”.

Intentional influence always requires a well tuned form of propaganda.

What does your propaganda sound like? Let’s hear it.

You’re set in you ways, I can not change your mind, only you can change your mind and I dont see you as wishing or willing to do so.
Not when it comes to the issue of of government at leas and even if you would, it would take a long time.

No, Because part of my ideology is accepting the fact that i will encounter those who reject it and oppose it, I have no illusion that i’ll convince everyone that what I believe is right.
