Thinking

Does thinking affect universe ?
Any idea,…

Kind of.
Thinking is the firing of neurons in your brain so energy is moving and changing but the effect is negligible.
And the thoughts you think have absolutely no effect.

Yes. Much the same that events during the day affect your dreams.

I think you can describe it more clearly.

Aren’t we Affected by Effects?..so…well…didn’t MONK use it correctly? (I probably look like an ass here, I’ve always been confused by affect/effect).

Anyway, thoughts alone can’t do much, so no, in response to the OP. But thought fuels action, so…yes, at the same time.

why the effect would nigligible?
Thanks for the fact.

No. No idea. Any idea yourself?
lIsten, I’m catching a bus soon. Let me know how you get on tomorrow,
See yah.

Think of it this way–

Effect = change
Affect = to cause change

I can, but I doubt it is the type of answer you’d like. “The universe” is indefinite, indeterminate. Therefore, any notion of “the universe” you have is an abstraction. We can’t say much about an abstraction, as such, aside from the claim that it is part of our reality. Thought affects the universe inasmuch as it affects your reality.

Yes.
Because you need it.
An idea can change your life.
So,change your life with your own idea.
Idea chit chat…

While the ideas one has can lead to action and thus change the universe, the act of thinking itself does not.
And even though thoughts may create action, any affect those actions have are so small they are like the movement of a single atom within our entire planet (or solar system, no one is exactly sure exactly how large the universe is)

The small movement of energy used in your brain to think is so very close to nothing when compared to the entirety of the universe that it might as well be zero.

it would have to be a very wise and very powerful thinking

(most if not all) Human action is the result of a thought. Depending on your definition of thought.
