doooood! that was awesome! =D>

Wow.

A

fantastic

Ain’t it though? That was excellent choreography to speak of nothing else.

Impressive, most impressive

right about when i thought it had ended… i was saying “that’s the coolest thing i’ve ever seen…”

then about five seconds later, it became the funniest thing.

that ending was amazing. the choreography as well.

very nice. i was especially impressed with the ‘effect’ of using the force.

these kids know the Jedi way…

This one is better: video.google.com/videoplay?docid … ight+saber

yeah its better.

but these guys were professionals, what was amazing about the other video was that it was more homemade looking and it was kids doing the fighting.

Those are concessions/excuses (and I doubt the guys in Art of the Saber are that much older; the “kids” in this are obviously college students).

they were both truly truly awesome.
what i found bizarre though, was i’m a fencer, and in the first one, if you strip off all the fancy stuff so much of it was basic fencing tecnique (we’re talking sabre here), and pretty good fencing tecnique, (if anyone knows about the sport i mean stuff like putting a line up when moving backwards).
hmmm, also, that bit towards the end remind me of harry potter when voldemort and he both draw there swords and they connect and they have to concentrate and push the bubble towards the other, you know?
hmm i’m babbling now
sara

:astonished: Wow… that was the Best home made lightsaber duel ever!

what?

i’m no big harry potter fan.

but i have to intervene.

what swords?

oops wands, my bad

You know. I often wonder how many Star Wars fans are out there that could have made a better prequel trilogy than George Lucas.

Considering how little most people know about what goes into directing films, I doubt very few could have :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s just if you consider the amature fans. There are also well established directors that no doubt would have jumped at the chance to direct a Star Wars flick.

Yeah, I’m no expert, but the footwork looked pretty good when they weren’t dancing.

But I always wondered how strange it would be to fight with a massless blade.

It probably wasn’t. Maybe made of white cardboard or something.

Great vids, both of them. =D>
