Well, it creates a lot of screw ups and problems which can lead to solutions that can be applied elsewhere. Or it can cause death and griefor gales of laughter. It can cause life.
You are all thoughtless. You never had a single thought of your own throughout your lives and I am no different. All thoughts that you ever had were given to you by something else. Watch your own thoughts, how they spring up some times, and call me a liar; I dare you.
And there is a difference between ‘Thoughtless’ and ‘Thoughtlessness’. Being thoughtless is not the same as being without direction. Becoming aware of ones own thoughtlessness, however, breeds a lot of new paranoia, which is loads of fun for people who love to be paranoid. Go ahead and give it a try, you’ll never be bored again.
People like to tote their own genius and toot their own horns a lot for coming up with stuff, whether they do it on the fly by the seat of their pants or having put hard effort into forcing their brains to come up with whatever they come up with. Such games that spirits play. I mean, we live life, the dead don’t; they have a lot more time on their hands to think up stuff before we’re ever even here and then they just sit around waiting for the best time to put it out there. People still have somewhat original ideas; people are still thinking in the midst of this chaotic mindfield, but I’ll be damned if any of you can actually differentiate between the living and the dead and whatever else might be out there.
Thoughtlessness as in clearing the mind of all thought (at least trying to) or thoughtlessness as in behavior lacking sympathy, empathy, compassion, cognitive thinking…
I don’t mean this to be a stupid question - maybe it is I’m just musing here - but can there not be thought without words?
Maybe this is a question of which came first - the chicken or the egg?
Anyway, my mind is wondering how we could have brought words into existence in the first place without thought?
Before words, there were pictures.
Do thoughts come from a part of the brain which is separate from the part of the brain capable of producing images?
Gees…
Maybe my question needs to be: Can there not be thinking without thoughts? I can’t express what I’m trying to say.
At the very beginning, without words or pictures or anything else, there were just subtle nudges and perhaps the beginnings of emotions like frustration, happiness, etc. The evolution of thoughts into pictures, words, etc. has put a blocker both on what may have preceded those things and what might follow; for how can we imagine past our own block?
If it is within my consciousness I own it.
Also if we have thoughts, even if they are not our property, we are fundamentally not thoughtless.
Though you bring up a good point that were are merely agents of creativity, entities reshaping the world in more pleasing ways, and so creativity is a myth.
There cannot be thoughts without sounds, there cannot be mental images without pictures. Words are images translated into spiritual henids, neither soundful or imageful but 6th sense entities until they are converted into soundful thoughts.
You are my property. I own you. I wipe up my mental masturbative cum spillings with your face.
Yes, I’m going to solely focus on what you said about something being in your consciousness being owned by you. You’re in my consciousness, by the way.
Yeah, we own each other; I gathered that through the metaconscious mind. Good thing I don’t love you, because then it would just be awkward. I’m more interested in the woman in Florida that I’m traveling across the states for.
I get owned a lot by things manipulating my pleasure center. I don’t do enough payback raping, to be honest. Just because the things raping me might actually enjoy it and be encouraged to do more raping.
The word “emotions” did come to me as kind of a gateway or stepping stone into thinking without actual thoughts as I was posting to Hahaha but I couldn’t see the missing link…if that makes any sense at all.
I suppose that evolving human consciousness felt the necessity to pour concrete over emotional thinking, wondering, behavior, in relationship with each other, and the beginnings of utterances and words came through that.
If we put ourselves in the place of these early people and the ways they had to communicate with one another, without the words, we can imagine the almost desperate need for a new form of communication. Desperation breeds necessity. lol
