There are three worlds, the world of essences (thesis), the world of existence (antithesis), and our world (synthesis). The world of essences, order, or ideality is divided into being and nonbeing, subject and object, male and female, here and there, good and evil, etc. The world of existence is… well… there’s not much we say about it. I believe the world of existence is the quantum world. The more our world behaves like the world of essences, the more reason (leftbrain/advanced) is suitable for describing it, the more our world behaves like the world of existence, the more intuition (rightbrain/primitive) is suitable for describing it. Reality forever oscillates between order and chaos, between form and formlessness. Chaos isn’t good or evil, it isn’t this or that, it just is. Order begets good and evil, this and that. In a way, the 1st world can be divided into a yin world and a yang world. The goal of all life, primitive and advanced, is; as above, so below; to make earth imitate heaven. I’m not sure if this can be accomplished, good seems to necessitate evil. The world (at least the big picture, not the details) can be understood through reason alone, our minds determine what we can know; the categories. Therefore, if there’s a chaos world (the quantum world), there has to be an order world (heaven and hell). Existence passes away, but archetypes remain. Our world is a mix of archetypes and existence, neither one prevailing for long. When an atom or star is born, essence prevails, when they pass away, existence prevails.
In terms of art, classicism attempts to imitate essence (in particular light essence) and dada existence.
In my philosophy, existence coincides with essence, although the goal of life (by definition, since if we desired anything else, we’d be not) is to make this world imitate heaven as much as possible. Since we’re constantly being thwarted by chaos and dark essence, life is fraught with angst and despair.
