I don’t really see what was crazy about Nietschze’s actions. Seems rather sweet.
Clearly Diogenes was not crazy. No friend of chickens, but that’s Another category.
Demonax AT THE AGE OF 100 realized he could no longer take care of himself, so he ended his Life by self-starvation. Again, not crazy. He made a decision he did not want to go on either in the care of others or whatever the result would have been.
I am not sure what part of not managing to have a successful philosophy school makes one crazy. So that one seems rather a stretch.
Sartre hiding from the Nobel committe and reporters is also not crazy. He did not want the prize and seems not to have wanted to talk About it.
that socrates considered his method of such use that he should be paid for it is also not crazy. I mean, if you can make a living Selling paint ball guns or derivatives, what is weird about getting paid to help people Think critically about their ideas. We actually do that nowadays.
Pretty poor list. I Think they must have missed some interesting stuff.

I remember Reading parts of Hegel and thinking he must have temporarily lost his mind.
