To Create

To rationally create in reaction to one’s environment is a marvelous act. A great demonstration of intelligence.

I feel creators are lost among the noise, and undervalued.
It’s easy to misinterpret between one who has produced their knowledge, and one who is only a home for the creations of others.

Whilst producing and consuming are related, whilst one needs a level of intelligence to comprehend the relevance of another’s creation, there is a divide.

To create demands imagination, understanding and spirit. One looks upon a void, and projects one’s inner ideals, often in spite of the external environment, often brave and ambitious, often pushing the boundaries and raising the bar. Further realizing the potential nested within us.

It is a representation of one’s identity.

There are those that comprehend a great many substantial things. Yet, with this comprehension, produce only noise. Nothing relevant, nothing substantial, nothing in comparison to the integrity and value of the creations their noise is founded on.

Those that can only consume, don’t comprehend that which is not explained to them. If left to their own devices, will likely destroy or undermine anything of value they’ve encountered or will encounter.

These consumers lack true identity. They are devoid and demanding within. They require constant attention, consideration, support. If they remain in this state, their existence is a prolonged struggle until their inevitable demise.

Their existence is a denial of the essence of life. Change.

Whilst the creator digests the produce of others, it is rationally. A means to an end. To further the creator’s ideal, a tool added to the set in which the creator engages their environment.

It is efficient to learn from others. Yet to rely on others, to produce nothing, is to put one’s welfare in the hands of another. To put one at another’s disposal.

To let one’s will, ideals, and affect be subsumed. To deny one’s experience of greatest practice our kind has engaged in.

It is to say no to one’s own capacity. To sell one’s experience short. For to consume greatness, is never the same as to produce and share it.

To build on the foundations set before one, in the spirit of the foundations, is an act of respect and appreciation. A will to breathe life and strength into what one values.

To will the sustenance and fortitude of a system. To fight against it’s vulnerabilities, and that which may prey on them.

A loving act. An act in the spirit of the living organism.

The glue of every angle’s wings is Practicality.

To be an extremist.

To create that which immerses people in the possibility.

That which makes them happy to be alive and reinforces it.

To assist in seeing what’s within and beyond, joyfully.

To gather all at one’s disposal, and produce something beyond the sum of it’s parts.

Not quite

James helped me apply the scientific method, and shared many of his own conclusions with me.

====

I can accept giving my conclusions away; It’s a lot harder to accept people taking my gift then boasting of wisdom, at my expense.

Discrediting the work I put into those conclusions.

I took leaps, I put myself at risk, I was altruistic.

The response after I’ve given my insights:

'Hey Ben, did you know ? This would be really helpful to you. This shit comes easily to me. I can do this all day.

You don’t need to thank me.

I’m a man, and you’re a child.

You need me.’

It surprises me sometimes.

I respect people, and give them gifts.

They spew on it, throw it back at me, then demand praise.

But, I’ll always be beyond those types until they embrace truth.

Then we will stand side by side.

James is one of the rare exceptions to this forum, that actually offered me support consistently.

There were others who did it, by questioning me respectfully.
