Right and wrong as taught by parental discipline are human specifications, not divine. I agree about free will on that level. Pascal’s wager is a prime example of a choice that does not signify free will, but smacks of coercion. No sane person would opt for ECT given those options. For will to be free the choice cannot be between either or, but must include other options. Pacal saw no other way but the two options he chose to give us.
Is there a third alternative? How about a million shades of gray between black and white ? Between right and wrong?

Pascal does not mention ECT, but calls the alternative to belief in God cause for existence in hell. It was well known in his time that hell stood for a place of eternal conscious torment.

Perhaps I mistook what Pascal wrote; but the point is that an either/or choice, when one option is bliss and the other is perdition, smacks of coercion, not of free will.
Sorry for getting off topic. The free will/determinism debate is an endless excursion into beliefs pro and con.
Giving a gift without expecting anything in return is an example of unconditional love in action.
