My definition of an idealist is someone that wishes and mostly aims for an “ideal” wether that be a situation, a creation, concept or task, and so on.

Feel free to elaborate on this definition or formulate you own understanding of it.

What do you think could aid an idealist in life?

i disagree with the “wishing” part. i think that an ideal is a goal that a person undergoes to realize. the ideal expresses a sort of potentiality.
i think idealists should arm themselves with defending the practical side of ideals altogether.
