#2. Super speed.
I’m a duality of forms. On one, I’m the tortured soul of Spawn that wants to break away from the evil plan but is saturated with the evil way. On another, I’m Superman - valiant and noble - entirely opposed to the ways of Spawn. But I can also heal wounds at the touch. I’m married to a being of knowledge. She mentors me (as I don’t have much of any other access to knowledge), and I protect her as we’ve both agreed to occupy very hostile territory. My dual nature of Spawn and Superman are incapable of contacting one another. My Mate is forbidden from relaying messages between us but is aware of the duality. Spawn always forgets his nature of Superman. Superman is vaguely aware of his duality as Spawn, but realizes that there’s not much to be done on the matter at this time. As Spawn, my mate occupies the body of King Arthur (I can’t remember what he’s normally called in Spawn) - who talks to me as my being a foolish jerk. As Superman, she appears like Arwen from Lord of the Rings, and comes unannounced and warm when especially finding me weak and in thoughts of futility. Like Spawn, My Superman is in a state of solitude, on a rather desolate area with the Justice League aiding me remotely (we’re following a long-range coordinated plan of Insurrection).
I really miss home sometimes. But I know that I wouldn’t have it any other way.
