Trump must win, because we all know he is the only legitimate candidate left.
Hillary and the DNC hacked Bernie out of the equation. We all know it. If you don’t know it, then you are dumber than a fucking rock, or at least in serious denial.
A Trump vs. Bernie contest would have been so badass. You would have seen Trump lose by a margin of at least 10 points in the general election. A real vindication of the true American spirit, which at bottom is just the human spirit, if you cut through all the bullshit and capitalist imperialism. But that isn’t going to happen now.
Trump is a terrible candidate, even worse potential politician, and probably even worse than all those just as a human being. The guy is really just trash, through and through. Again, we all know this, and if you don’t know it then see above about rocks and whatever.
But since Trump is the only one left who actually has the will of the voters so far, and represents a sizable portion of the US people with his “ideas”, it must be he who wins. This is how democracy works, and history always vindicates truth in the end. If Trump as president fucks things up as much as he is going to, which is inevitable, we will see the pendulum swing back in the other direction. He may be the first US president not to win re-election in a very long time.
It doesn’t matter that you don’t like him, that he is a liar, a idiot, an ideologue, a narcissist, a shameless bigot or just has really bad hair. You need to vote for him because he is the last shred of democracy you have left.
I dont think he is such bad guy, compared to myself at least, which I take as a standard as I dont know anyone else that well. His instincts are pretty human, I’d say. I think he needs to win because the world needs a human right now, an overtly all-too-human president, among all other overtly all-too-human presidents. Too long the US has given us a mt Rushmore type president who went on killing in the shadows, even though the flames leapt so high everyone could see it, it was still formally unknown and so no one had to be accountable. I hate that. Obama is the worst, because I liked him so much, especially his pre-Presidential character, which you saw in informal moments and occasions where he could joke. He is as Pezer phrased it the most classy motherfucker on the planet, but he’s also the front of an immensely lethal machine that is headed and well described by the man I always mention but won’t now - the man who has been operating behind the scenes for four decades. No president has that power. The 2 terms secure that no president ever gains true might. FDR was the last real countryshaper.
The empire is no longer rising, and it is vastly overextended, but it can still be consolidated as the most powerful nation for the next two thousand years. Military supremacy isnt attained directly as the Clintons have been pushing destroying Yugoslavia and expanding NATO, but by much more generous politics; gregarious, Jupiterian - Caesar-like. That is the state out civilization is in - Game of Thrones is the most popular story - the nation deserves an overt brute. Certainly it does not deserve the bitch hypocrite lady played by the actress from Holland.
As a Nietzschean I would always compare the leaders with the worst and the best and see the value system they pertain to more easily, effortlessly. I see Clinton pertaining easily to the worst, which to me is corporate fascism, and Trump more easy to the lesser evil, which is capitalistic nationalism (or nationalist capitalism).
I am against Globalism before the whole of Religion has been resolved so as to actually mean a concentrated effort to make the Earth into a divine realm; as long as a majority of the population is allowed to preach to children that the world is evil, we have absolutely no right to claim this planet as a species. If NATO Has accomplished anything it is that God, who was thought dead-ish, has resurrected in a more dangerous form.
It’s really a massive feat. Im not being sarcastic - the man that set this in motion will go down in history and be remembered far longer than any president. Fucking Poles man. They have memory.
Yes his instincts are human, meaning he isn’t a pre-programmed automaton like Clinton. But he also embodies many of the worst human qualities in instinct form, including an almost ceaseless penchant for non-thinking reactionism. The guy seems incapable of concerted thought, he simply reacts. That is fine as a “human quality”, and certainly he isn’t a robot like most politicians, and yes that is virtuous, but what does it forebode for someone like that as president of the US? Do you think he will magically change into a reasonable, thoughtful, calculated and mentallyemotionally balanced person on day 1 of his presidency?
If not, then we will basically have a child running things. If you’ve been around enough businesspeople, as I have, you begin to see how truly childish they are. They are essentially like 10 year old in suits and adult bodies. I have yet to meet a businessperson capable of true seriousness and reflection, much less mental-emotional sanity and depth.
My most considered assessment is that in his rhetoric he is purely reactionary, but based on a platform of values that he has actually rationally assembled throughout his life.
One reason I trust him on a basic level to be adequately consistent in terms of life and death situations is because of his children. They are truly quite decent for people in their situation.
Anyone with a modicum of commonsense will realise this crazy ‘promise’ to build a wall and it be paid for by Mexico beggars belief. He is pledging a huge project, probably the largest ever and what details about the wall itself have been revealed, except, that he intends Mexico to pay for it? Hello, not only is this stupid but also unrealistic.
If you see wisdom in this and trust a man who mouths off and expects someone else to foot the bill for his outlandish projects, I know not what to say, except, the mind boggles at such naivety.
Right - we can build a three stage hydrogen bomb, but we can’t build a wall.
?
Obama just committed his successors to a trillion on spending for the upgrade of the nuclear arsenal in the next 10 years. How much would a wall cost, really? And how many jobs would it create?
If the wall is on the American side America pays for it. If it is on the Mexican side Mexico pays for it. Since it can only
be on the American side then America pays for it. It will be interesting to see if he does become President how much
of a priority it will become because it will no longer be necessary for him to even mention it from that point onwards
Latest news break: NRP chairman thinks it’s best for Trump over the latest Trumpian drama over his continuous criticism of Muslim-American warhero’s ethnicity.
There are various Trump staffers who quit over the guff, in addition he will not endorse Supporters who indoor end him, as a result of their views over the matter.
It is quite possible he will be asked to resign, however he can’t be forced out.
If something unforeseen happened, (such as the pre planned candidate to win, lost), it would not matter. Both Clinton and Trump are cut with the same cloth and both have their roles in this election.
I think Clinton has the edge simply because she is more malleable and understands the political world better than Trump and with no promise of a Mexico Wall.
I think he is the willing patsy in this election, with a role to play opposite Clinton, a punching bag for the public and a distraction from Clinton’s faux pas from her past.
She will come out clean, which is totally necessary, at least superficially.
I am on this one with triple H though, perhaps for different reasons.
Clinton will make changes, leaning towards a Fascist society, which ultimately will become global.
There is nothing anyone one can do to change this.
I’ve been wondering this too, if Trump’s purpose is the ensure that Clinton gets elected. It would make sense. After all he has been friendly on personal terms with the Clintons in the past. And he used to be a Democrat, before seemingly becoming infected with radical right-wing talk radio ideology.
Whether he drops out or not, he has already done a lot to legitimize Clinton, by simple comparison with himself. And he promised to start seriously attacking her after he got the nomination, but mostly what he’s done is open his mouth and say stupid non-issue thing after stupid non-issue thing, ensuring that his statements remains the focus and keeping focus off Clinton. And of course he’s already done tremendous damage to the GOP.
