Really? Where?

Trump, like any other random self-absorbed celeb, makes his way through that interview by saying a lot of nothing.

Besides the lack of substance…who-tf cares what Trump says anyway? He is so far removed from any meaningful position of power that he could claim to be the messiah and know one would flinch.

Ha! I suggest you turn the volume on and check it out again.

It’s primarily interesting because he’s one of the few republicans who has the guts to call a spade a spade. Some of the ‘lot of nothing’ he says is:

*The Iraq war is a disaster (fact)
*Iraq has gone from having no terrorists to being the terrorist HQ (fact)
*Wagging an illegal war on a muslim country that had nothing to do with 911 has dramatically increased the number of extremists world wide (fact)
*The middle east is in flux and nobody can control where the cards are going to fall. (fact)
*Iran has been empowered by the demise of Saddam (fact)

And now, aftert the Trump interview, the U.S. has announced that its going to spend billions of tax payers money creating a new arms race in the most volatile region on the planet by helping the Saudi’s counter Irans new position of power (brought about by U.S. knocking out Saddam).

Saudi Arabia? The very country where Osama comes from, most of the supposed 911 hijackers came from and the country that began (and still is) supporting fanatical Islamic movements is going to get more handouts, subsidies and military hardware.?

Yeah, sure; it’s all ‘a lot of nothing’ :unamused:

Uh, no, opinion.

You should quantify ‘terrorist’, because if you mean Al Qaeda, then your passport should say Pakistan, not Iraq.

I’ll concede that the ideology of Western hatred has become easier to publicize and the opponents to it have become more active, but I don’t think you could say ‘the number has increased’.

Well, all control is tenuous at best, so this is hardly a revelation.

Their economy has improved slightly, and they have begun to wave their saber a bit more, but the empowerment you mention is hardly worth being concerned about, Ahmadinejad is loathed by many Iranians and the Mullahs aren’t thought of too highly either.
