Truth & Harmony

What is their relation?
1+1=2 could be said to be harmonious, while 1+1=3 is not.
So, is truth a type of harmony? Or am I wrong to say true things have a degree of harmony?
Or, is harmony a type of truth?
Or both?

Deception, crooks, bias, close- mindedness, stubbornness , fighting… all such things are oppositions to truth, and create (or are) disharmony.
Disharmony is ugliness, while harmony is beautiful.

Can we use beauty as a criteria for truth?

I think we can. Definitely with people.
Like , the voice of one speaking truth, instead of falsehood, (someone speaking sincerely instead of someone pretending) will sound more beautiful.
E veryone hates a fraud. Everyone hates egotism.

Judgment(a ccusation) is also ugly.
Does that mean that those who are judging are being untruthful?
Yes. They are self- righteous, which is evil pretending to be righteous. They are projecting their own guilt(or evil) onto others. That is hypocrisy.
I t is also false, because when one judges, one is affirming that another is not worthy of being happy. That they are undeserving of love and respect…wh ich is derived from the belief that another is “bad”. As in, the person, and not the infliction. That is false, because nobody is bad. Its not even possible to be bad. Its only possible to do bad, and is only ever done because of ignorance and/or misunderstan ding of what is good. So those who judge are kind of thinking “This person deserves misfortune for having misfortune”
So again, judging another as bad and deserving of condemnation is ugly and delusive.

So now, a true person is harmonious. While a person with falsehood is disharmoniou s. A question is, is reality, since it is “the truth” also good? Does the same criteria apply to it as it does to individuals?

This problem may seem difficult, because everything seems to be a part of reality. The beautiful AND the ugly. The true and the false. Yet, the deluded are separated from reality, in as far as they are un- in touch with truth. So, it doesn’t seem fitting to call all the tragedy which is related to being disconnected from truth “real”.

As far as one can non-exclusively and potentially agree :

Both truth and lies, both harmony and disharmony, both clarity and uncertainty, both good and bad, are all part of the whole process of which perspectives experience. “Universe” is a non-exclusive term, in which there is no super-natural or transcendant, no separate soul or god outside of it all. In such a universe, there is not and cannot be anything unreal or supernatural, therefor there cannot literally be untruths.

Your O.P. makes truth into a moral value, and thus you claim that deceptive people, bias, stubborness, and fighting are somehow untrue, although they are very real events which in that case are truly existent. The Greeks did this before you, when the religion was called truth and the truth was sometimes called a religion.

They’re separated from your reality.
