hi! has anyone felt this when on lsd or mushrooms?
or just after meditation , or just thinking?
i felt it once on mushrooms…
Oh, yeah, definitely. RAAAAAAAHHH!!!
Lsd was my d.o.c. for about ten years. The truth is a beautiful thing.
I feel it every time I stub my toe on the way up the stairs.
‘How much truth can a spirit bare, how much truth can a spirit dare? That became more and more for me the measure of worth.’ - Nietzsche (Ecce Homo, I think)
d.o.c.?
drug of choice. it’s a rehab term.
The truth is not unbearable, the old truth is unbearable. As you alter your perception you alter your truths.
For me, truth is too disturbing to bear without my d.o.c. … Guiness.
Come to think of it, being beerless is a truth too disturbing to bear.
But, like Hesse’s Steppenwolf, I have found I have a great capacity for pain.
mrn
I’ve never done shrooms
Except on a pepperoni and mushroom pizza
And those ones weren’t toxic.
Back when I was too-human
Mentally
The truth was too disturbing to bear.
But if you pass your iron through the fire
Enough times
It will become firm.
Tourment and anihilation
Help to hammer the truth
Right through the boney head.
Die
Or
Be realistic.
That’s how it goes
At some point or another.
Addictions to untruths
Are far worse than
Addictions to narcotics.

a vacuum cleaner would do about the same. or tape on its feet.
Truth isn’t unbearable it’s a frequency.
We’re moving into quite a bearable truth right now actually.
The fact that people can look around at the world now content with it is what is unbearable to me.
‘When the truth is found to be lies…’ - Jefferson Airplane
The actual truth - that’s what we want.
Yes sir e.
It’s also the “good” of intelligence. A mind which stops to seek truth is a potato couch.
Tune in.
