I can’t hear what she’s talking about, but it reminded me of people talking about their favorite sports teams when thing go badly.
You’re not expecting people to actually have lives are you?
“And it’s all gonna end! And I don’t want it to ehhhhnnnnnnddd [sobbing]…”
It’s funny but it’s so true. We get depressed when things we really care about come to an end. We can laugh 'cause we think the Twilight movies are such a trivial thing to be attached to, but we’ve all felt similarly about something else.
The end of the affair… on both counts
This dumb bitch, and this dumb movie ain’t worth a thread.
Well yes but being this attached to something so trivial (and bad) at this age is certainly strange and probably no healthy.
I remember watching a lot of tv shows when I was really young and when they would come to an end I would be really sad thinking life would never be the same.
I was around 10 though. This girl is probably in her late teens or early twenties.
I think it’s perfectly normal to get attached to tv shows, films and books. Just not to this extent.
She does have a video about the affair. It’s gold.
Jesus!
I hope she doesn’t have an eating disorder. I’ve known people who eat like Hell anytime they get upset. Another couple of steaks and she’s not going to be able to walk…
Dogs, I didn’t bother watching the video, but Twilight is the shit. I’ve seen one of them. Love a good vampire movie.
The only thing I can think of that is more loser than watching or talking about Twilight, are the people who bitch and complain about the people who talk about Twilight.
Is your life such a dead end of interesting things that you need to dwell in your own understanding of things you have no intellectual interest in, but have latched a hold of emotionally the same way the people who actually like the content have?
I was about to make some crack about Volchok being some dude who watched fight club and thought he was ‘outside of society’ but then I realized his avatar is actually from fight club.
Finding fools who are obsessed with crap pop culture is shooting fish in a barrel. Sadly, finding people who are obsessed with those people who are obsessed with crap pop culture is also shooting fish in a barrel.
A strategy of tension? Actually, why am I bothering, there’s 3 people on this whole forum who even know what that means…
It’s the Beiber effect.
I have this theory that he was made (ultimately) popular by the people who hate him. Super ironic.
What does strategy of tension mean?
Where you pitch people into two ideologically opposing groups (think the Fascists and the Communist in Italy during Gladio, that’s where the phrase comes from) and then encourage them to polarise by each giving the other ammunition about how stupid/wrong/immoral/violent and scary the other one is. The aim is simply to fuel tensions, fuel anger, and out of that the demand for greater security, greater censorship, whatever, will arise.
It’s basically what I think is going on with the Breivik case - we had a decade of hyping the Muslim terrorist threat, then we got a huge one-man slaughter by a white Muslim-hating nationalist - a focal event for the other pole in the polarised exchange. Breivik is, if you like, the Ordine Nuovo of the followup to Gladio, he represents the reactionary ‘right’ wing to the incursion of the ‘left’ wing of Muslims.
Oh noes! It’s a chain of people ridiculing people ridiculing people all over trivial things!
Gobbo,
I’m surprised you are not recognizing all the evidence amounting toward the existence of vampires and lycans. It’s just clear that with so many stories and so much accumulated accounts, that… ugh, people are just so blind sometimes. I’ve been having discussions with people who know these things about vampires nad lycans, on 4chan. It’s all there. I’ll see if I can find a poorly put together youtube clip on the topic. You’ll have to do your own research though, I can’t really be bothered. But yes, it’s pretty much a fact: vampires and lycans exist.
Um… just stop talking
I have it on good authority that mitt Romney is a vampire, a
blood sucking ghoul that leaches off of society.
Kropotkin
I guess I’m the 3rd guy who knows what strategy of tension means. Nice.
Brethren, you were just a minute ago going off about Batman. Batman for fuckssakes. And a fair bit more than just posting a video to laugh at someone.
Everything you say seems to be in conflict with itself.
Gobbo, you called me a loser for having seen a Twilight movie. I was only wondering whether you didn’t recognize the existence of vampires and lycans. It’s pretty clear to me. And there’s a new underground expose called Underworld which I think goes some ways to proving my point.
As someone who is funny is kinda pains me to have to read bad jokes.
