Where will human civilization be in 1000 years, pending our survival?
Will we be colonizing the moon or Mars? How far will our space travel go? How large will our cities be and how much manipulation will we have over our physical environments?
Now zoom ahead to 10000 years, 100000 years, and even 1000000 years…
How far will humans go with exponential growth in scientific discoveries? Will we uncover deep-space travel through teleportation? Will we master the art/science of cloning? Will we directly control our evolutionary rate and how to direct it?
There is no limit to our progress, so how far-fetched is it for alien civilizations to already be at that point, now? It’s not far-fetched at all!
I’m confident that aliens are observing Earth just like biologists observe an ant colony. It’s amazing how stupid and weak we are as human animals!
Now imagine it from the eyes of an alien civilization 100,000,000 years ahead of us in time!
What was that quote from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy? Something like: “all this over some guy who was nailed to a cross four thousand years ago?”
If ants possessed the conceptual capacity for it; I’m sure they would like proof of human existence just as much as we would like proof of extraterrestrial existence. The problem is relaying that kind of ‘advanced information’ through our different evolutions. Humans see no need to provide proof; and even if we did, any information we could convey to the ant world would best be described as paranormal.
I’m not completely discounting that UFOs may not exist, but I believe the odds are farther stacked with my estimation than against it.
i’ve have seen three hovering space craft before, right over the highway, and they could have been the government, but the tech had to be 50 years ahead of its time, because the ships were so still that i couldn’t see any movement whatsoever. It was that close to the ground.
I feel bad for people who dont see such a thing in their lives, because they dont know what to believe, and some are even close minded about such a thing.
I saw a green object in the clear nighttime sky before as my friend and I walked along a road in our town. It was very distant but distinct from the stars due to its more noticable light. I looked and my brain was processing the information, not more than 4-10 seconds after I initially saw the object, it sped off extremely fast, like a shooting star. However it was not a shooting star, because it was perfectly still prior to its movement…
My best friend (the guy that I was with at the time) had also clearly seen a UFO with flashing colored lights at my house one morning. He said that the lights were bright enough to light up the inside of my room, even though it was around 6:30 AM and the sunlight was already shining a little bit.
I’m really interested to go UFO watching at this point in my life…
If all you guys saw were lights at night or dusk it could have been your imagination dreaming it up, literally. It’s happened to me before… and no, I wasn’t drunk or high .
I saw the actual ships. There were lights circling the sides, but the rest, especially the closest one to the ground, looked just like they look in the movies. I was with my mother, and I asked her are you seeing what i’m seeing and she confirmed. If I was alone I’d have a fraction of a doubt, but since I wasn’t I fully believe what I saw was aliens, or a top secret project by the gov. I have no reason to fabricate to people I’ll probably never meet in real life.
You’re absolutely reasonable here. I have no reason to lie and why should I?
Then this observation calls into question the millions of claims about supernatural events… Obviously, I would say that a huge portion of these claims are not true based on errors/hoaxes, but human senses fool us in the first place. You never know where ‘true’ mystery then arises with paranormal experiences.
Are UFOs, ghosts, etc. real? Maybe. It’s definitely interesting, especially when you can take in accounts reasonably.
i was just like you before i saw it myself, sometimes i would believe people and other times i was skeptical. I feel privaledged about what I saw, and i no longer have to “call claims into question”
The thing is, i’m trying to open people minds to the possibilities, but the fact that it was a private experience and you weren’t there is a barrier, just like it is for even the most common everyday experiences.
Like I said, i feel privaleged that my mind was opened to possiblities, and i hope you see something, anything that does the same to you. It feels good, that’s all i can say.
do you think aliens could be that far ahead, what i mean is that things tend to slot into place in this universe in terms of synchronicity. with infinite and universal intelligence that would put us all on a more level playing field. all conjecture i know, but its how i see it and would explain why we are not picking them up ~ radio signals etc.
secondly are there limits to advancement, is there only so much we can know, is time travel and space travel virtually impossible, no matter how much we know?
i do like the idea that aliens are watching us, but personally i would wipe us off the planet and colonise it before its too late.
btw, i seen one too, it was a red orange colour like an inverse horseshoe, around a thousand other people saw it too [i was at a park].
mass hallucination perhaps.
When you’re a kid, you destroyed ant colonies and messed them up. But after you grew up and you’re an adult, do you really care to waste your time destroying an ant colony? No, in fact, an adult becomes interested in them to see how they work and what they do. Adults only destroy ant colonies if they become ‘pests’.
I’m sure if we became pests to the galaxy, then we’d be destroyed. Do not forget how big the Milky Way galaxy is–let alone the entire universe. Anything is possible.
