“In a world where quantity overpowers quality”~

I’ve made a few comments at ILP about how quantity always seems to be put before quality. Did you read those?

It felt good to hear you say things about quantity vs quality aswel.
Thank you for that.

The “fuck and die” lifestyle seems omnipresent on earth, as each individual organism cannot even maintain its own body for many years, but at the same time will mass produce the same old flawed, temporary design.

Not that I want to sound perfectionist… But I suppose the whole quantity-vs-quality issue in society is simply a sign of an even-deeper issue within the origin, creator and the programmer of the human species.

[If it turns out this way:] Humanity will eventually run into a mass extinction, and only a small percentage will survive from the crash. The surivers will probably be the “strongest” or most “superior” ones, and good old mother nature has her next step in human evolution, as oxy-moronic as ever. She learns by running face-first into her own problems which she creates.

Traditional-dogma vs Robotic-efficiency, which will win…?

The real retardation is that the embryos that they use in experiments aren’t even viable: They are not going to be brought to term regardless… so why not use them? Doesn’t make sense.

The ancient and traditional philosophy of a human some sort of moral entity – replaces or prevents the idea that a human is a machine which is in desporate need of upgrade.

Traditionalists and moralists outnumber the futurists and the transhumanists.

They will get what they wanted, and it will do allot of damage, then, as history clearly shows, a scapegoat will be found and its neck will be broken, whilst the problem [within the human genome] still remains…

Do you think G.W. would have vetoed this bill in his first term if he had the opportunity? Would he have been reelected if he did veto it in his first term?

Are you implying that GW is looking out for number1, instead of the welfare of his constituents? Blaspheme!

do you think bush would still be alive if we didnt have term limits?
