Less than half of investors are single party investors–most are retirement, incentive, and/or charitable funds–this is how the financial melt-down that led to the Great Recession occurred and was so devastating. Cities, states, communities also invest. The Idea behind investment is to earn a profit on the money invested.
Republicans were in ‘power’ during the GWB administration. How many ‘jobs’, other than military service, did the Republican administration create?
