In trying to understand another’s knowledge one first must understand the knowledge is piecemealed into many different understandings be they opinions or truths. People see from their perspective in their own way. I for one am interested in taking the piecemeal way and condensing it into (My way of understand others). I love to seek knowledge and learn and be understood. The word wisdom to me )is to be understood without doubt? Do we have a innate wisdom enhanced from seeking knowledge or is wisdom a spiritual gift?
If one has a spiritual gift of wisdom how do they express that to others who do not have that insight and are just seekers of knowledge without wisdom? Thoughts please. pljamesone@att.net
Intelligence is inherited in one’s intellect and does not change during lifetime in normal circumstances. Thus, we can say that it is some sort of spiritual or natural quality because we cannot change it by effort.
knowledge can be acquired through intelligence and it is always barrowed/acquired. We may may borrow it from others and aquire it from our experiences as well. So, we can say that there are two types of knowledges; learned and earned. The ratio of these differ from person to person. There are some kinds of knowledges, those are reserved only for earning mode; sensations, emotions, feelings.
Last is wisdom. It is neither intelligence nor knowledge but the intention, which decides how to use other two. More often than not, we confuse intelligence and knowledge with wisdom.
A hacker is always more intelligent and knowledgeable than original programmer, that’s why he is able to hack. But he faults in his intention and that is wisdom.
In my horror I have learned the hard way that people are individuals first. As for me I see them and expect them to see what I see know what I know (the same way as I do) and believe as I do. Narcissism comes to mind as well as the word truth (which I am in denial of). I now have to understand they do not see hear and know what I know. We all have our (own way ) of understanding knowledge. Knowledge is like a universe big and uncharted. Knowledge is like as I look out my bedroom window I see the light trees squirrels birds out shed the beauty of nature which I call (reality). But Scientist claims I am wrong .
What I see is formed matter created from unformed matter that I cannot see. To me that is the epitome of the definition of knowledge. I am not a English major but a English minor. The word (perfect) drives me nuts. In my denial of understanding why others cannot understand as I do, I rant and rave. Thanks for listening. pljames
