Yes and China actually has a claim on Taiwan (reasonable or not) whereas the US has no claim reasonable or otherwise over Venezuela or its leaders.
The US has devolved into a petty dictatorship at this point, since the rule of law is all but gone. There has been a two tier justice system for a very long time, but this just takes the cake. Kidnapping foreign leaders and charging them with violating US law… utter madness. We are truly living through collapse stage of an empire.

Exactly right, and it gives them legitimacy. If a sufficiently low percentage of the population were voting for them, they would lose legitimacy. By this point in American history both the republicans and democrats, as parties and as individual politicians, have absolutely terrible records. They are all corrupt, untrustworthy, bad for America and bad for the world. The fact that they fight each other for more power is irrelevant. At this point, anyone who votes for either of these political parties is to blame for whatever bad things either party or the American political system as a whole is doing.

Nah, one party is MIC oriented, the other is market oriented, that’s all I see. Both are certainly billionaire oriented. They both seem to get a turn at exactly the right time, sometimes it’s beyond coincidence.
I don’t know that much about it because I find it all very depressing, especially when the candidates keep using the word “change”, without explaining exactly how that will be achieved. It’s all slogans and nonsense.
