As you know, a couple of weeks ago I got a highly stubborn piece of malware/adware called Spyfalcon and eventually resorted to reformatting my hard disk to get rid of the thing. Today it appeared that I’d got the same thing again and I had a moment of fiery depression as I thought that I’d have to reformat and reinstall once more. It turns out that Adaware can now deal with it where it couldn’t before as it seems to have removed all traces of the bug and it hasn’t come back when I reboot, as it did before. Praise be upon adaware, the greatest piece of free security software since zonealarm
i wish i knew exactly how that friggin program/file regeneration worked.
i was hit by the best offers network’s shit, cant remember how long ago. and i cant remember exactly which on of my anti-spywares got it,cuz i was useing all of em at once. my memory aint so good for certain things.
i got infected by downloading thier registry cleaner on an add, and it came in with it’s nasty little f(r)iends. it could only be uninstalled by getting an uninstall tool from thier web site, which would probly eat my computer for breakfast. a also noticed that they worked with kazaa when i looked at the front page of thier site, full protection on of coarse. basturds.
on a side note,if anyone out there knows a free registry cleaner that will clean you whole registry for free lemme know. it seems to be a reg. cleaner tradition to never do the whole thing for free…
