This site is making a final push to get the numbers it needs to hopefully pressure the Taliban to release the Sth Korean hostages. It may be too little too late but EVERYTHING should be done while there’s still time.

No, I don’t think they give a shit about what infidels think but the petition is world-wide and concentrated on Muslim countries like Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The signatures from non-Islamic countries are being used to pressure Muslim leaders to push the sharia law pertaining to guests. The Taliban are fundamentalists and follow Sharia literally so it’s a matter of redesignating what the Taliban see as Christian evangelists into guests. Perhaps a fundamentalist muslim leader will deem them his guests?
Like all petitions, you either sign or you don’t. Personally, I believe in doing EVERYTHING possible, no matter how ridiculous, dumb or late it may be. I’d rather have tried something, than to sit on my ass and do nothing. If doing something – regardless of the minuscule chance it may have of saving lives – makes liberals feel good, then give me more. I’m not ashamed of trying, impenitent; quite the contrary. I never give up till one minute after the end.
Kris, you’re judging their action on your own western values? It’s not about western morals; it’s about what Sharia law says how enemies of islam (including westernized Moslems) and guests should be treated.
I am well aware of Sharia laws. but, there within those laws are loopholes did you know that?
