Vale of Antiquity

Day Breaks and I watch the fog guild the trees
Never knowing its demise
The rocks are as feathers on my feet
Decent of a spirit lifted

Noonday Sun baking the mead
Dew hours ago baked
A Falcon cries of Freedom and Joy
All a myth; except in this place

Dusk’s Decent to the wave kissed shores
Blessed Neptune’s Urbania
As I watch the last ray hit the rolling sea
A Gull screams of Life

for my home.

Hi I actually quite like this litle poem, sahrt and has a beautiful poetic air abut it

kind thoughts

I’m for any poem that mentions mead.

Alextentialism,

An Old English word: mead = meadow

Another Old English word: mead = an ale made from fermented honey.

You are by far, too clever.
