Jakob sent me an MP4 file of a very short film he did while on a visit here in Maine a couple of years ago. Perhaps I am biased, but I find it very entertaining. He took some more or less random footage, mostly of me, babbling incoherently and made it into a film portrait of…me, babbling incoherently.
Seriously, he is extremely talented, and I’ll try to find links to some of his documentary work.
Jake made something of a narrative out of nothing. I find that strikingly good.
Anyway, he had it on YouTube, but there’s no audio there, I guess because of my foul mouth. Is there some way I can share this here at ILP? It’s just on an MP4 player that I downloaded, but i’m betting that gvid won’t approve, either. Any ideas? it’s pretty funny, I think. The video, that is.
