I agree with you here, Humpty. As you say, subject A shows more respect and concern towards the life of her unborn child than does subject B, with its seemingly frivolous mentality. I actually sort of intuited though that that might just be a scenario. That aside, when it comes to the consideration of abortion, some pay deep attention to it and weigh all the pros and cons though sorrowfully and others treat it as a joke and as something to be done with quickly, as a nuisance. Sometimes my mindset does not allow me to peer into another’s box.
I’m not seeing it as contradictory either. At the same time, I, myself, do ‘see’ that statistic as true because once life ‘is’, I don’t feel anyone has the ‘right’ to take it away. People sometimes cannot see beyond into ‘possibility’. But sometimes that is far more real than their ‘probability’. But that’s not part of this thread.
