I was checking my facebook earlier today and on my way to closing it out, I caught sight of this ad.
Now…to me, this is just classic irony.
Walmart being advertised by its own hand with a little Asian baby in a wicker basket.
And no one at that gathering of marketing minds stopped and said, “Well, gee Ron, here’s the thing…see…we kind of get a lot of flack for child labor issues in third world countries. I’m not sure that’s the best idea here.”
Was the other idea worse?
Was the only other option Ralph’s idea:
