I prefer to refer to those who have died matyrs whom have sacrificed their lives so we can have very cheap oil.
But is even a single human life created in the image of God of less value than the cheapening oil a little for an already rich country?

aha, here is the trick. the ones who have died are not christians and thus are worthelss.

Or the ones we destroyed after the operation free Kuwait which we told Saddham to attack to put fear into Saudi Arabia to let us build a base there, which pissed off the locals that included now most wanted terrorist Osama.

I didn’t read the whole thread, as my time is limited. But I’ll say this. I’ve been out there to Iraq twice in the last three years. I was there when we first invaded as part of the 1st Marine FSSG and then again last spring as part of the Air Command Element. Being at the level I’m in, seeing the death, and first hand experience on how this war is changing family lives, my opinions are very solid. Although I’m paid, and probably brain-washed, not to have an opinion… 
… I do my best to keep my eyes open.
I also see the bigger picture. Since the Civil War, The US has been involved in a major conflict at least once every 10 years. WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Bosnia, and a lot of smaller incidents. War, altough as terrible as it is, is sometimes neccessary for peace. I could hear the arguments and debates now. But you really don’t know the evils that are out there in the world until you come face to face with a group of rifle holding fanatics, that are your age, probably share similar interests, but that guy wants you dead, and you want to stay alive.
Conspiracy or not, it is too late.
We shouldent have gone. i dont know who to place the blame on. if bush knew there were no WMDs, blame him. if the intel services were wrong, blame them. if there were WMDs and theyre were just hidden or destroyed before we got there, blame saddam.
in any case, whoevers to blame, theres nothing we can do now. we cant leave now. if we left and the iraqis couldent govern themselvs, they would collapse into chaos and probably become a breeding ground for terrorists and dictators. not to mention the fact the world would hate us even more if we destroy a small country for no reason (especially one they depend on for oil) and dont fix it.
