this is an 8 minute cartoon divided into 2 4 minute mini episodes.
The classical music is beautifully integrated into the 1940’s cartoon and it is one of my all time favorites.
While watching the cartoon , particularily the second half, pay close attention to the ways in which it would relate to every day life in the 1940’s.
It features a group of swans who are shadowed by a black duckling who wants to join the white, i mean swan crowd.
Through faithful military service the black duckling defeats the german vulture and thereby gains entry into the graceful swan society (but only at the back of the line)
what do you think? hidden storyline or what?
