Lately, I’ve been having some fun with Google’s free image generating feature.
Today, I prompted it into creating a fanciful image of what the Earth would basically look like if…
(without disrupting or destroying any of its natural features or processes)
…you could somehow take it between the palms of your two hands and squish it into a more flattened structure like this…
I did this in order to demonstrate how our highly “attenuated” level of consciousness prevents us from realizing just how utterly strange the universe truly is.
I’m talking about a strangeness that resides in the fact that we are all going about our daily (and nightly) routines in a material setting in which we are all basically (and literally) upside-down from one another…
…or at least upside-down relative to everything on the opposite side of the planet (and vice-versa) as is depicted in the image.
And this isn’t just me making up some wild nonsense, no, what you see in that image is almost precisely what we are dealing with.
Indeed, we are walking around on the surface of a setting that is pretty much no different than what it would be like if our populace was divided and situated…
(topsy-turvy to one another)
…on opposite sides of a giant coin that is not only “flipping” through space in a cycle in which one full flip only takes a mere 24 hours to complete,…
…but is also moving laterally through space at 67,000 miles per hour.
Yet, we neither feel nor sense any of this constant movement or upside-downness.
So then, with the above in mind, I strongly suggest that the reason for this attenuation of the general level of human consciousness is not only for the purpose of preventing us from becoming aware of anything that might cause us to question the integrity of this “illusion” we are momentarily immersed within,…
…but also, for the purpose of making our human form feel “natural” and “logical” to us.
And that would be similar to how a dog’s prescribed level of consciousness makes being in the form of a dog feel natural to the dog.
And, of course, the same goes for a frog, or a fly, or any other lifeform.
Anyway, in closing, I would like to leave you with a little thought experiment involving what you might see if your imagination (or the eye of your mind) were somehow able to literally penetrate through the ground beneath you - all the way through the Earth - until emerging on the opposite side of the planet…
…And in this fanciful scenario, you emerged from a point where you are able to see the bottom (or hull) of an ocean liner.
However, what you need to keep in mind is that from the perspective and position of where your body is located, you would literally be - “looking down” - at the bottom of that boat as it skims across the surface of that liquid glaze that is being gently, but securely, held (by gravity) to that upside-down (from you) surface pictured in this earlier image…
Indeed, if you zoom-in on the image, you can even see the top of that boat – front and center – in the upside-down half of the squished Earth.
And while you’re zoomed-in, notice how normal everything appears to be to the humans and the animals on either side of the flattened Earth, and then realize that that is a depiction of how things really are on this crazy planet,…
…we are all functionally oblivious of how utterly strange this setting truly is.
