Even if you had been born in ancient times before modern medicine, I’m sure you would have lived. It is popular misconception that just because they didn’t have our pills and healthcare systems that people didn’t know how to handle situations like that and didn’t have medicine at all. Yes, but how realistic is that to implement and do you really think our governments would implement it and if they did, do you think it would stop the growing animosity against other countries and the animosity that other countries have growing against us? It’s not about being dramatic, it’s about the inevitable outward expression of so much repressed and oppressed emotion, improper reaction to improper reaction and the end of a cycle started ages past that we have been caught up in. Do you really think people would want war less if, all of a sudden, things started getting better? Some would, others would go along with it for a while and then cause war all the same.
I think 99% of leaders are con artists. War is lucrative. People prefer having their head in the sand. And I think the best do not want to help clean up any mess because they will be executed. Until joe and Jane doe start handling their own lives responsibly we are screwed especially in cities. You could not get me to live in any city because they all have a big old bullseye on them. Still on local levels young people can get monetary rewards or paid education. For the government it would be less expensive.
