Western Society

People in Western society, meaning Western European countries, America, and other non United States countries in Americas, have this positive, progressive, idealistic, naive vision of freedom and liberty. United states is the “land of opportunity”. We have “free speech”. We are soooooo “free”. But are we, really?

I don’t think so.

When you have a society which trains, indoctrinates, and brainwashes children into believing they’re free, it can come as a shock to everybody to realize that you’re not free.

We’re not here because we’re free. We’re here because we’re not free. There’s no escaping reason, no denying purpose.

Slavery has not ended in the United States. It has not ended anywhere in the world. It has never ended at any point in time. There was always slavery, is slavery right now, always will be slavery. Instead, the reason why people believe slavery is ended, is because this is what we are brainwashed as children in the United States. We’re “educated”, which means indoctrinated, to believe in “freedom”. But what is freedom? How can freedom exist without slavery?

In the United States, we’re indoctrinated to automatically look at slavery as “bad and evil”. It’s negative, not positive. Conversely, freedom is automatically good in its own right, positive, not negative. This is incorrect, false, and a lie. Sometimes slavery is good. Sometimes freedom is evil.

Most of you, as Westerners, are going to just straight out reject, deny deny deny, all of this, because it is what you’ve grown up with. You believe in it, like a Christian is indoctrinated, and enslaved, to believe in God. God is to the Christian as Freedom is to the Westerner.

But there is no Freedom. And there is no God.

You are not free. You are not free to do the things you want, act on the impulses you want to. You are not free to think about certain thoughts. You are not free to believe certain falsities. Your mind and brain is restricted. All of this restriction comes, mostly, from your indoctrination. But it goes further than this. Isn’t a child the property and responsibility of his or her parents? You are born into slavery. You require care, nourishment, protection, from your parents. And so you become a slave to this nourishment and care. You are born a dependent. And most people never become independent.

Despite Western rhetoric for “pro independence” and “going your own way” and “spread freedom and democracy”, where is the actual independence?

Show me. I want to see it. Despite all these empty words and false beliefs, these endless torrents of lies, where is the actual independence and freedom?

Blacks can marry whites, does that mean you’re free?

Women can work and slave for a boss at work, like men always have, does that mean you’re free?

You can speak against your government, as long as you’re not on the terrorist watch list, does that mean you’re free?

You’re allowed to demonstrate, peacefully, in select areas, at select times, saying select things, does that mean you’re free?

Where is this “freedom”? I see none. I see millions and millions of slaves, believing they’re free, but not really going too deep into this topic. Because it may scare the shit out of you. It may scare the typical, average Westerner, to realize, that you’re not free at all. That you’ve been born a dependent, are still dependent, and cannot escape society. There is no escape from slavery.

To escape from slavery, you must first understand what it is, and accept it. This is where the typical Westerner goes wrong. You deny slavery. You believe it doesn’t exist. You believe that by electing Obama, that this can alleviate white guilt. We have a black president, so this proves we are all free. And when we have a woman president, then we’re even freer than ever before. No, this is all wrong, false, and a lie.

Imagine having no president. Imagine having no leader. Imagine having no authority, no god, no parent. Imagine becoming your own authority, your own god, your own parent, your own president, your own leader.

The problem is, I don’t see it in you. I don’t see it in anybody. Where is all this “freedom” that the West touts and claims to value so much? Where, the fuck, is it?

Imagine having your kids armed to the teeth, your children can be tossed aside and left for dead, Imagine knowing that you can cause harm freely, imagine that road is just mud and you cant escape a tornado, imagine that you are injured and dying and you can’t call for help… TANSTAAFL.

Too much Freedom is scary. I know.

Too much Security is also scary. Imagine riot police, imagine martial law, imagine blatant censorship and paranoia. Imagine terrorism, imagine metal detectors and stripping people naked, at different sectors of your city. Imagine everything you do is watched, carefully, combed over, discussed by a secret society tapping your phones. Imagine fearing your own family.

It goes both ways. America is headed toward the police state, oligarchy, paranoia, terrorism, and away from freedom.

Freedom ain’t scary, its the dumbass nutcases that seem to plague humanity everywhere that is scary. Honor and respect are just words anymore. Selfish is the latest trend.

rununder, when you know something’s been censored, it hasn’t really been censored now has it?

Not everything that is censored, is censored well. Things that are censored well, generally run under the radar.

But if they are under your radar, then you have no way to know if something has been censored or not. You can guess all day, but you know nothing.

Defining everything of human interaction as slavery is a tired old meme. If you truly wish to avoid “slavery”, cut yourself off from any form of human interaction. Become the hermit, the “man in the woods”. Depend on no one for anything. Shun humanity.

From another perspective, the avoidance of anything human beyond yourself make’s you a slave to not being a slave. Isn’t it fun to play with semantics?

Tentative, I wish that you and other people here would stop limiting yourselves.

Let’s go much further than the hermit. Let’s talk about physical and mental limitations. Are you not a slave to your body? You can’t jump 15 feet high of your own capability, can you? No. Our bodies limit our actions. We use technology to improve our capabilities, including computers to improve our minds and brains.

So technology is offering an extension, somewhat, toward freedom. Granting this, the hermit may live alone and independent, but, limit himself by lack of access to technology and human knowledge.

Go further tenative, with what I’m talking about. Let’s talk about going beyond all limitations, even mental limitations of your or my brain. How do we outgrow our brains? How do we overcome belief? How do we extend the human imagination?

Is it not the human imagination where man is “freest”?

No,

Well, I’ve been told I have one hell of an imagination, but outgrowing our brain? At that point, one ceases to be human. I don’t even have any problem with that because I’m not overly impressed with humans, but what you’re suggesting leaves you incapable of human communication which be any other measure, is flying around in space panties. I prefer accepting the constraints of physiological realities -ie- brain is all it can be and even with my limited brain capacities, I don’t call it slavery. It’s just life as it is.

Yes!

Separation from humanity is freedom.

If something was significantly eliminated from mainstream view, the fact that it appears it the years top censored stories does not mean it was not censored. To censor means that it is cut up for political or economic reasons. It doesn’t mean the article never appears anywhere after that censorship.

A good list of mainstream censored stories can be found here…

projectcensored.org/

But there is information that is even more effectively censored than found in these stories.

That is what I see. And then there are all the trained in freedoms - of the type you alluded to in the OP - and then there are all the ways we are trained what should not be thought or mentioned by our peers.

6000th post Reno!!!

Nope, our imagination is slave to what we might think is possible. We can only imagine that which is in our language threshold.

Possibilities are not confined by language, but by thoughts.

Some rare individuals can even step outside the boundaries of what is possible, to you, and what is possible to the common person. Some rare groups of men, individuals, transcend possibility and demonstrate the impossible. Some men defy all expectations.

This freedom begins by destroying all mental barriers. The laws you live by, do not rule over, and enslave, everybody else. Your slavery, although contagious and infectious, does not spread to all.

Your limits are not my limits, thank you God!!! Keep your limits, to yourself, please. Don’t apply them to me. I don’t want them.

I don’t want your barriers. I don’t accept them.

Hon, your imagination is thwarted by the alphabet. Give it a shot and be honest.

Hon estly, I think you’re speaking from experience, and can’t comprehend a complete dismantling of limitations and laws.

Gravity applies to you, not me.

My kind has touched the moon. My kind has already conquered gravity.
