People who visited the moon were there and came back.
Why do they have to die?
What is it really worthy of?
Why the universe is so dark and empty?
Why is it no sun there?
Why no blue sky is seen from the moon?
Doth we all can see it from the surface of the ground.
Where is the blue sky when people are on the moon?
I think nothing green and blue should be seen. Only blue. Blue sky.
Otherwise, what is it all worthy of? Our attempts to know everything about universe. Probably nothing at all.
“But we all can see it from the surface of the ground” Good question. I’ll get back to you or you can get back to me.
When people are on the surface of the moon, does the blue sky go somewhere?
But green and blue are such complimentary colors – Why not green?
I think the worthiness of it all is in trying to search it out, to discover it, in recognizing all possibilities.
I’m not sure I get what your saying. 1) Because they are human. 2) Who his doing the judgeing of worth? 3) Because it’s space. It appears to me that a certain amount of mass in one area creates a gravitational feild, thus attracting more matter, creating space. (Something along those lines) 4) When your in space, just look around, there are “suns” everywhere. (From the pictures I’ve seen, it looks very beautiful) 5) Because the moon has no atmosphere containing elements like nitrogen and oxygen.
Our attemps at trying to know everything about our universe will just beter everyones vist in it. The way I see it, we are all basically stuck here. Even when we die, our atoms that made us up just get used to build up different combinations of matter. Considering that something can’t come from nothing, and that everything has existed for eternity that is.
I would have felt that you believe – by what I see in your writings – that human beings are worthy…
not based on what they subjectively or objectively feel about themselves, for that matter…
or what society feels makes a worthy human … society cannot always be intelligent or reasonable in observing…-
Can human beings be worthy simply by nature of their being?
Or are human beings judged worthy based on who they are in society, what they have, their education, what they do for a living, how successful they are viewed…
Do you really think it just comes down to this?
Sorry, What I mean is each person is their own judge of worthiness, although we are not just one single entity we are a part of a whole society, at least most of us are. We can only judge ourselves worthy or unworthy not each other. Just because a person is unable to work or contribute to the physical or emotional needs of society does not mean they are unworthy humans. Only they can say that. And just because a person contributes to the physical needs of society or emotional needs does not make them worthy. Only they can say. A life time is short but, it is a very long time to make or break a spirit.
I have met many fine down and out folks and many fine wealthy folks and plenty of scum in both classes. We are only what we make ourselves and think of ourselves. Society cannot judge because the human society needs all. For society to judge one single person then society has to be harmed or benifited from that person. But, and a real big but, that does not say what the person thinks of themselves. We all die alone. We all must face our maker alone. So if there is to be a judge of worthiness then it must be within our self. Society can contribute or detract depending upon the person/personality.
So basically, I think what you are saying here is that each individual alone can judge whether they are worthy or not.
Is it really a good thing to even “judge” ourselves or others as worthy or unworthy. Maybe I am not really explaining this right.
If we, personally or as a society, judge others worthy or not worthy, then how are we to perceive ourselves in a real way that is “truth”? Any kind of a judgment, whether looked on as good or bad, is still a judgment. And it is only our perception of ourself, or others, and that can certainly change from moment to moment depending on where we feel our place in the world is – or feel that another’s place is (emotionally or intellectually speaking).
There is so much in life that is based on the “eye of the beholder”, including the definition of the word “worthy”.
So perhaps instead of judging “worthy” or not, we can simply live from a place where there are no labels.
I agree with you. But, on a practical level it can’t be applied yet. We are too entwined and barely sophisticated. We still fight.
Little old ladies fight over blue light specials , road rage, we fight over territory and superiority. Heck, we even argue over which idiot makes the better president.
We can aspire to be as you describe. We will have to wait until most folks are more educated and much much more peaceful. Think on this, we are not all taught the same social ettiquette. So how can we socialize without friction and judging? I have a young lady staying with us, she is 20 but, mentally she is socially 15 or 14 with her social ettiquette and graces. Her mother never taught her how to be a guest or how to behave in such a circumstance. Am I judging her? Yep, both mother and daughter. I now am trying to teach the girl how to behave in public, as a guest and give her lessons on how to behave at work and interviews for work I am now a mommy again and my patience is very short, she is being given a limited time by me to straighten up. sadly I have to do this, she has been with us a month and really very little progress is seen.
The human animal is worthy. Evolution has meandered a long path to create it. But something funny happen on the way to the perfect animal - thought and its judgmental views appeared. The universe builds and destroys , it does not give a shit what you think.
So go ahead give worth to anything - think them saints, noblemen, kings, reverent, but alas they only exist in your universe. In the real universe we have the same worth.
When someone tries to place a worth on a human another human always objects and overthrows the government. This is more of a philosophical question than a natural science one
