Let’s not be humble. Let’s boast about our most profound insights, drawing on the things we’ve said here on ILP.
This is going to require a little bit of work (not much, just a bit): go back through your posts and search out things you’ve said that not only capture your principle views and philosophical stances, but things you feel you could be quoted for (should you ever - fingers crossed - become famous).
I’ll start - I’ll also cheat a bit - I’m not going to draw on anything I’ve said here on ILP, but on things I’ve said in my website: mm-theory.com. I figure it makes no difference anyway since these are things I would say here on ILP should I ever have the opportunity to slide them in. Obviously, this means you’re granted the same right - if you have any writings outside ILP, draw on them if you must.
P.S. TO THE MODS: I realize this might belong in the philosophy forum, but I wasn’t sure. Is posting your own quotes really ‘philosophy’? Move it if you must.
For every statement I have ever made even potentially worthy of being quoted, I have matched it with no less than 10,000 statements that have been absolute garbage.
