What came first? The act of demonstration, the property the act was demonstrating, or the object/subject that was acting to demonstrate its property?

What came first… the body… its actions… or its objectives?

How did objectives precede body/action if, in order to function, there need be a being and acting? How did being precede the acting/objectives if, in order to be, there must be active function? How did acting precede being/objective if, action needs functional being?

Posted twice elsewhere on the board.

> What came first (what is ontologically prior substance?), the category (ontology) or its members/examples (existantiation/action)? If we do not allow for an empty category (we must always ask “What referent populates this category?”), or for a category-less member/example (we must always ask, “What category is this populating?”) the answer has to be both, and the category is “merely” essential (to the observer) “until” it is both (actually, all three: category/substance, member/example/action, e…

The pure apperception (the enduring I) must be added to pure imagination (prior to its being sensible) in order to trigger its intellectual function that would otherwise lie dormant (Kant, CPR, First Edition, 124).

If that is the case, which original apperception kicked this off to trigger intellectual function for the first time in contingent beings, such as we?
