Music such as fur elise from beethoveen and such.
I am still seeking that classical mystical song, maybe I will encounter it, if you can give me an insight.
Unless you do not know your music other then the modern day, its okay. For the modern day eventually one day will turn classic. But mainly old classical music, that continues to attract.
1812 overture… tchaikovsky
beethoven’s 5th, naturally
i also like various chopin, mozart, bach, etc, but i don’t know what any of it is called.
also pachabel’s canon is beautiful.

They’re not all from before the 1900’s, but that doesn’t really detract from the quality. Have fun!

Brahm’s adagio is pretty awesome.
And I’m a big fan of Swan Lake, m’self.
I never really cared for Rodeo, or Copland in general.

b444 1900 lol just kidding
there is awesome classical stuff ever after 1900 man.
Francis Poulenc is one of my favourite anti-romanticists.
But for something mystical…Holst: Music of the Spheres
He wrote a piece for each of the planets (ones that were known at the time)
If you want more i can go on forever…
For classical music with crazy jazz fusion goodness check out Jacques Loussier

If we’re gonna go past 1900, a list without Orff would be tragically incomplete.

is not the songs of the planets is the music for Braveheart.
plus if we talk about within the 1900 i don’t think it would be consider classical, nor antiguity until we hit 2010

Yes, but I think most people tend to lump Baroque, Classical, Romantic, ect all into the giant umbrella of ‘classical’. At least, that is a language convention that I have noticed and that was how I understood the original post.

Does it have to be classical? I love Vivaldi, but also love Celtic and Gaeilic music. LOL, RIVER DANCE! What a wonderful experience.
