i see it in video games and therefor wonder if it is japanese(these guys own video games what can i say). but seriously it is not in dictionary.com which is vexing cuz they have everything nobody else does.
can anyone here answer correctly and if so,how did you find out what it means and how can you be certain your definition is accurate?
this kind of bullshit is unaccecptable at ilp! but i imageine you will get away with it because it seems isolated. and i dont feel like whineing to the mods.yet.
well yes. you have point BUT,the only reason i do this is cuz it could become a usefull conversation. see, i much prefer simply shouting to the nearset person " what does this word mean?" rather than looking it up, which in some cases may be way quicker.
if y’all cant be botherd by looking it up, i didn’t ask you to. i’m thinking if anyone knows off the top of thier mind kind of thing.
plus if multiple posters say the same definition it gives it more credibility.
In the wheel of time fantasy series a gaiden is, if I remember correctly, another name for a ‘Warder’ who is the lifelong guardian, friend, and warrior for the Aes Sedai he is bonded too. Aes Sedai are magic users who operate by means of ‘weaving’ different elemental threads to make various spell typep things. Being bonded is another one of these such spells, or otherwise known as ‘weaves’.
