I’ve heard people bring up this term of a real job saying that people who work on the internet don’t have real jobs but what is a real job none of these people have been able to define that ironically is it objective or is it subjective ? And if it is subjective then why use the term real job at all instead of just job ?

This is the usual rhetoric you hear from the bourgeois or the wealthy when they’re making fun of those that work on the lower ends of society who they view as disposable wage slaves and peons concerning peonage.
“You’re a lowly poor janitor or restaurant assistant, that’s not a real job as you’re a wage slave chump.” For context.
Your job isn’t real, the little bit of money you’re paid working isn’t real, and since they view that as your entire identity concerning your station in society you’re not real as an individual person or human being either. That’s the entire attitude of the mockery.

Oh and never ever ever take a mental health day if they try to switch up your hours from nights to days, one day only, and eat into your weekend, like they’re some kind of CIA operatives trying to torture you with sleep deprivation.

I’ve definitely heard the classist interpretation, which Mr. Authoritarian has laid out. But I’ve also heard this idea that there’s some inherent criticism, that you should be suffering in your work, or that it should be well-defined, like a nine-to-five job. It shouldn’t be freelance. You shouldn’t be making money from your band. Even if your band is making you a decent salary, people will say, “Get a real job where you suffer. Don’t mess around. Get a career.”
There are very different things happening here, because often there’s this implicit idea that you should be earning money through the sweat of your brow. But of course, in the service industry, you’re working hard. Unless you can somehow support yourself part-time, you’re working a pretty heavy week in terms of being on your feet and moving around—certainly more than in many corporate desk jobs.
So the meanings are almost opposed. One version is, “Why aren’t you suffering and following a traditional career?” That’s also a meaning of “get a real job.” Don’t be some freelance producer. Don’t manage a band. Don’t be the bassist in a band. Okay, you’re earning more than I am, but it’s not a real job. You’re just messing around. You’re not contributing to society.
There is the saying that you cannot clean something without making something else dirty.
Good luck finding a job that does not exploit something.

The logic you present does not hold as you are arguing against something I never argued.
Widened the concept for you so you have leeway there cause society is a closed system. You will literally not find any job within the system that wouldnt take away from somewhere else.
You exploit via the market, via the corporation, via the government, the tax, the education, the resources used, the resources taken, so on and so forth.
You can say that a job does not actively seek to exploit others, but a job of no exploitation is like a concept of a living being that does not kill any other living beings. Neither for sustenance nor in the process of defending its own integrity. Not to mention by taking away opportunity just by existing.
Existence is a food chain. Not a food dot.

It would be nice if everyone contributed to society together in active participation and where everyone got to enjoy the hard work of their labors equally.
A society where everyone views each other as one giant extended human family in social cooperation. That is my mindset and perception, sounds a lot better than ruthless competition, exploitation, and constant infighting.

Look, if we were a hive mind, or a colony species like ants, i’d understand where you are coming from, but to the current species of homo sapiens… we are just not built like that.
There is no way we could ALL just coexist as one happy family even if you forced us to and gave us every incentive in the world.
We are hardwired to compete, to make groups, to compete and do war between groups, decide who is the more capable to go on existing…
This might be something horrible and horrifying from a moral and ethical standpoint, but from a natural standpoint its absolute and perfect normalcy. We are living beings like all of our living brethren and siblings, and sadly we are born into an existence where we are forced to extinguish eachother in order to decide what form is more appropriate for life to exist in.
On a grand scale, it is nothing more than life itself deciding what it wants to be.
Its trying on species after species, form after form, life after life and seeks the ultimate and universal way to be.
The illusions and wishful thinking about union and kumbayah… you are better off if you seek that in your personal relationships. If you find a partner who can give you EXACTLY that feeling and sensation of union, who will support you and stand by you and who you can support and stand by yourself.
Trying to extrapolate that onto our entire species… that will only ever result in suffering for everyone involved, even if the intent is good and the goal is meant well.

Working, as in having a job is not only a zero sum game because everything you achieve is a spot denied to someone else, but its foundationally built on mutual exploitation.
Your workplace takes away your time and gives you money instead but always only just enough so that the majority of the profit stays with your employer.
The things you produce are taxed, your government exploits you, and the things you produce will be used to exploit others in the same way based on the way people buy it for a hundred times what it has cost to make it, and then on top of it also pay tax.
Then there is the marketing surrounding your job and things your produce, and the public relations and sales which are outright nothing more than manipulation.
You will NEVER find a job that is not exploitative because jobs are exploitative as baseline concept from the bottom up. You are being exploited and you exploit in turn. Its a chain of exploitation which even at it’s best starts with the exploitation of nature as you sit down to bang stones together in order to produce arrowheads for your caveman hunting party.
So either you understand what a job is, or you do not want to understand it thank you very much.
I suck balls at expressing myself but i am pretty sure that i expressed the point enough for you to have at least a limited understanding of why you will never find work that is not exploitative.
