What is life for?

I want to know what’s everyone’s plan for the time they have left on this planet. Personally, I have this rural fantasy. I am finishing university next year, and I am contemplating a life in this rural town. I mean, the weather is good, the air is fresh, people are simple and friendly. It has this lazy atmosphere. What are your plans?

Once i get some money together i would like to travel a bit, see some of the places you see on T.V. but maybe think you will never go.
i’d like to experience the world a little, might aswell been as i dunno weather i’ll be able to see them in death or whatever is after life. why miss the oportunity?

I intend to finish college, and go onto the Police Acadamy to become a Police Officer (hey, if the Navy won’t take me, at least the local Law enforcment department will  ).

I intend to remain a bachlor. I will live in a nice, but affordable apartment, which I will fill with computers & gadgets and lots and lots of books (philosophy books, that is). If I move, I wish to end up living near a university or some other major center of learning. And, I’d like to be able to find a decent church in my area…

this is all plans, but obviously, I can’t predict my own future.

Sometimes you have to let go of the life you have planned, to make room for the life that is waiting for you.

true, but at my young age, having just a rough idea of where you’re going is not all that of a bad thing…don’t you think?

I want to live in Antarctica. Specifically I want to live in an artifical cave in Antarctica. I could ship in supplies once every six months and live by myself. Furthermore I could seed nuclear warheads across the continent and threaten to detonate them causing the ice to melt and New York City to be flooded. But that would be mean of me. Actually I just want to take a beastly sized telescope and somekind of internet connection, that’s all I really need to get by.

Wouldn’t somewhere in Alaska be secluded enough? Why do you want to go all the way to Antarctica? Also, how would you finance such a costly living situation? Or is this pure fantasy?
