what is its advantage? if any.
I believe a job that offers honor and respected, and he gains many gifts.
He has political power, has both philosophic and practical wisdom, and love by those who he had helped.

poker, it gives the freedom of not having to succumb to any other shit job. My dream job would be in any of the sciences, perferably cognitive sciences, or theoritical physics but until I make enough to retire, I’m not going back to university. So from a pragmatic and personal point of view poker. Otherwise I deeply envy anyone who is working in a scientific, or philosophical domains.
There can only be one best job.
That’s the one for you. It’s nobody else’s. It’s yours. All you have to do is follow your passion and you’ll find it.
Passion, ha, I spit on it. People are ignorant about their passions and the meaning of passions. Ex. people wish to be stars so they go studying acting, however when they graduate they do become actors but theatre and no name actors. People wish to be rich, so they study business, but in reality they are studying how to be employee.
Tell me your passion and tell me did you find it. Until then, this is an unpractical reponse.
Actually, dan, it’s an impractical response.
Especially for you.
I like you, Dan.
The thief is the greatest career. Preferably a professional jewel and rare art thief. There is nothing more stylish.
DC Cooper comes to mind for money theft. How awesome are you if you rob an airplane and jump out of it to escape?
What other ways of making money can be compared? Show me someone cooler than Cooper. You can’t do it.
Robin Hood, maybe, but he wore green tights so he’s questionable.
Creating “slightly used” virgins for unbiased public consumption.
Those who likes me, also likes the one who has sent me.
If those who does not unfavor me, I shall wipe off my the dusts of my hands and leave, for there be a day they shall suffer more then Sodom itself.
I do not dispise you for in the future you will learn.

And for the rest of the posts, I like the theif because everybody loves robin hood. However, those who he had stole from will despise him.
Just my devilish thoughts colliding with the almighty.
Thanks for not despising me, Dan, as well as for the vote of confidence.
Think I might just make it through the day now…
I agree with Jerry about the passion thing, because your work will be more like a hobby.
The problem is that you have to really, really figure what your passion is.
What is our passion? I do not even know myself how would I know my passion. You may say that I am mad but tis’ truth.
Again, tell me your passion and how did you achieved it? And then I will analyze it.
Hi Dan,
Jerry is on it. However cliche you and Fabiano may feel it is, passion IS the key. Try new things. The more new experiences you have you give yourself a chance to find your passion. Some never do because they chase the almighty dollar bill. Your passion will NOT come to your front door begging you or miraculously appear as you play your 85th video game this week… just live.
There is nothing like living and working in your passion. Nothing.
And think twice before you listen to detrop’s creative post on larceny unless you want to be one-eyed Billy’s bitch in prison. The epitome of style if you like small quarters and a sore bum.
Okay, dan, you seem sincere enough.
For me it’s entrepreneurship. I am an entrepreneur. That’s not just what I do, it’s who I am. I have never felt comfortable working for others. I have always wanted to operate my own business and I am doing so. It is something I am passionate about. My business is my canvas. It is my means of creativity.
I can’t say for sure that this passion thing is in everybody, but I highly suspect it is. I suspect that each of us has some canvas within, waiting to be painted in a way that is totally unique to each.
This, you must find. It’s yours alone and nobody else’s. This will be your best job.
Personally I can only see a job involving words as satisfying me. Writer, teacher, spin doctor, biographer, something like that. But I reckon that by the end of the year I could be passionate enough about filmmaking (films are my first love, artistically) for that to change…
Ah =D> , finally something practical to think about.
I believe your passion is not to have your own buisness but to have money and pleasure and the most as possible, therefore, you invest and expanding your business like you said, a capitalist.
Now, you are suspecting the nature of all human beings, whether human are good or evil, until you made an artistic statement.
Thus, I think I have found the answer , the best job would be something that is close to the nature of human beings. The nature of that individual.
What kind of influence or ideas or knowledge that he had inhabited throughout his life, which change him.
" For knowledge and more knowledge changes the nature of the himself, unless he finds enlightent, a truth that does not change"
ex: I love sex, so I am going to be a prositute; now I learn the knowledge of sex, I am going to restrict myself . I love to write, so I become a writer; 10 years has passed, now I know I have wasted my years, for no one appreciates my writing only my girlfirend. I love god I become a priest, but I sat in church all these years working in sunday masses knowing that everybody aready been converted.
In conclusion, I am going to say that your nature is pleasure, security, and money. This is your passion, until you reached into a state of certainity, your nature remains.
=D> end of discussion
The best job is the nature of oneself and what he believes. Not the definition of passion. But the definition of truth. =D>
Sounds good to me, Danny boy.
I regret having started it. You asked a question which I mistakenly assumed was sincere, without preconceived ideas and no hidden agenda.
Best of luck to you.

And you clearly do not know Jerry… or yourself for that matter.
