And I think you forget that many people, most people in the societies you’re considering didn’t have much in the way of property. It was often two dirt poor commoners marrying. But, who really cares? You are free to disregard as many and any people you choose, but I think actual human history and I will just see our way out of this conversation.

Sorry, I read and responded too quickly to yours, so I edited. Since my question was, “Are property rights the ONE driving force?” And your response was “Yes” I assumed you had either misread me or Nietzsche. After more careful examination of your response I see that while your “Yes” answer doesn’t agree with Nietzsche or me, your elaboration was accurate enough.

No. Property rights are not the one driving force, but it is an aspect of the driving force.

That would be the Will to Power. Everything else can be reduced to it.

OH oh oh

a fight a fight!

- go yopele bash him on the nose

Meantime I’ll amuse yeese with more quotes from
proposal for the creation of a wedding factory:

"The cermony is free. Those who go have already suffered eough misfortune. Afterwards, rings and chains are put on them, they are made to kiss the tricolour picture of libertarian communism, and they are thrown down the ramp. In order to avoid disturbances to the normal functioning of the factory, it is a good idea to place the following poster at the exit:

NO COMPLAINTS ACCEPTED"

I vaguely remember Nietzsche saying conceptions of “justice” arose via property or debt any ways. Of course he was a romantic at heart and a big, big marriage fan:

even concubinage has been corrupted: by marriage

I surrender. Fights and me have a bad history. The last one I was I actually in…well, to say I lost it would understate it…by quite a bit. I admit that they weren’t that big, but there were four of them and they were pretty gosh darn mean.

This is not as much about philosophy as it is about anthroplogy and what humans did to survive and gain prosperity. If you wanted to survive and thrive, it was impossible to do it on your own, You needed assistance so what better way then to buy or find a person of the opposite gender to create a comfortable existence for both you and your mate. And to create a work force to enable your wealth to grow for your old age security. Marriage in the beginning was merely a contract beteen families and husband and wife to ensure security and possible prosperity. it was an alliance for safety.

No love, no gods, just survival and prosperty/ property rights. Folks did not have time to think of gods and love. They just wanted to survive the rough seasons. If you put your own morals to the past then you come up with bad data and wrong answers. Survival and property were it, nothing more in the beginning. It wasn’t until groups of people came together as clans, towns and villages that they had the luxury of adding more meaning to marriage. As clans towns villages prospered so did luxuries and thinking philosphically or theologically was a luxury and still is.

if power was the ultimate sense of happiness and property is the path, why would hitler who brake all the cliches of values would choose a woman to love?, why men in all power would keep on seeking for a woman to love? woman never give power out of love, the way i see the truth is be in love, you have to be first stupids the most would think i have that is why i feel i am, because when i have my reflection seems quite real, everyone is respecting my presence and they even are afraid of my words, power to ensure yourself of being but you are so dum that to pretend is enough for you to believe yourself inn, you know that others dont care but you dont care either to be in depth as you would not be in love in depth, some tears and machos muscles and kisses and hugs will convince enough that you are making a lot to find true love

All a little misunderstanding - mind you the best bit in the Geanology of Morals is the festivals of cruelty - much more excitin! Bring on the festivals of cruelty…or maybe thats what marriage is…aha…

one more quote from the ladies of 1936 on the wedding factory and I’m off to watch the match:

“subdivisions:
A waiting room, divided into two-person cubicles by partial partitions. Isolation is essential in the case of epidemic. One room for cermonies and an exit ramp. Speed is important so that people shouldn’t have time to change their minds…”

Social institutions which function purely in society’s interest…

handy if your interests coincide

if not

well

Here’s the lyrics from the old Suicidal tendency classic

- OK sorry all - I’m gone now!

Institutionalized

Sometimes I try to do things and it just doesn’t work out the way I wanted to.
I get real frustrated and I try hard to do it and I take my time and it doesn’t work out the way I wanted to.
It’s like I concentrate real hard and it doesn’t work out
Everything I do and everything I try never turns out
It’s like I need time to figure these things out
But there’s always someone there going

Hey Mike:
You know we’ve been noticing you’ve been having a lot of problems lately.
You know, maybe you should get away and maybe you should talk about it, maybe you’ll feel a lot better

And I go:
No it’s okay, you know I’ll figure it out, just leave me alone I’ll figure it out. You know I’ll just work by myself.

And they go:
Well you know if you want to talk about it I’ll be here you know and you’ll probably feel a lot better if you talk about it.

And I go:
No I don’t want to I’m okay, I’ll figure it out myself and they just keep bugging me and they just keep bugging me and it builds up inside and it builds up inside.

So you’re gonna be institutionalized
You’ll come out brainwashed with bloodshot eyes
You won’t have any say
They’ll brainwash you until you see their way.

I’m not crazy - institutionalized
You’re the one who’s crazy - institutionalized
You’re driving me crazy - institutionalized

They stuck me in an institution
Said it was the only solution
To give me the needed professional help
To protect me from the enemy, myself

I was in my room and I was just like staring at the wall thinking about everything
But then again I was thinking about nothing
And then my mom came in and I didn’t even know she was there she called my name
And I didn’t even hear it, and then she started screaming: MIKE! MIKE!
And I go:
What, what’s the matter
And she goes:
What’s the matter with you?
I go:
There’s nothing-wrong mom.
And she goes:
Don’t tell me that, you’re on drugs!
And I go:
No mom I’m not on drugs I’m okay, I was just thinking you know, why don’t you get me a pepsi.
And she goes:
NO you’re on drugs!
I go:
Mom I’m okay, I’m just thinking.
She goes:
No you’re not thinking, you’re on drugs! Normal people don’t act that way!
I go:
Mom just give me a Pepsi please
All I want is a Pepsi, and she wouldn’t give it to me
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi, and she wouldn’t give it to me.
Just a Pepsi.

They give you a white shirt with long sleeves
Tied around you’re back, you’re treated like thieves
Drug you up because they’re lazy
It’s too much work to help a crazy

I’m not crazy - institutionalized
You’re the one who’s crazy - institutionalized
You’re driving me crazy - institutionalized

They stuck me in an institution
Said it was the only solution
To give me the needed professional help
To protect me from the enemy, myself

I was sitting in my room and my mom and my dad came in and they pulled up a chair and they sat down, they go:
Mike, we need to talk to you
And I go:
Okay what’s the matter
They go:
Me and your mom have been noticing lately that you’ve been having a lot of problems,
You’ve been going off for no reason and we’re afraid you’re gonna hurt somebody,
We’re afraid you’re gonna hurt yourself.
So we decided that it would be in your interest if we put you somewhere
Where you could get the help that you need.
And I go:
Wait, what do you mean, what are you talking about, we decided!?
My best interest?! How can you know what’s my best interest is?
How can you say what my best interest is? What are you trying to say, I’m crazy?
When I went to your schools, I went to your churches,
I went to your institutional learning facilities?! So how can you say I’m crazy.

They say they’re gonna fix my brain
Alleviate my suffering and my pain
But by the time they fix my head
Mentally I’ll be dead

I’m not crazy - institutionalized
You’re the one who’s crazy - institutionalized
You’re driving me crazy - institutionalized

They stuck me in an institution
Said it was the only solution
To give me the needed professional help
To protect me from the enemy, myself

It doesn’t matter I’ll probably get hit by a car anyway.

Hey Iman I love life good and bad - there’s no life without death- there was a clever woman - but she dumped me about a month ago - proving (yet again) that she was both clever and had good eye sight - darn!

But there you are its the fluidity and “becoming” of it that make it interesting
even if its not always enjoyable…

Sorry I’m very giddy today

Marriage – An institution which facilitates the creation of stable procreative unities and which is subsequently enforced and promoted through idealism (romanticism), religion (morality) and law.

Marriage- A union of weakness which seeks to overcome individual limitations through cooperation and self-sacrifice; the individual sacrifices identity and independence so as to overcome his/her mortality and to inject hope in his/her hopelessness.
Thusly a union which benefits the weakest of the unity’s participants; explaining why women are so obsessed with it.

Marriage- A technology which harnesses human sexual drives and focuses their energies towards more socially productive routes.
A technology made possible through the control and limitation of female sexual power; explaining why the notion of family deteriorates when female choice grows.

Marriage is an agreement, compromise, love, need, social responsibility and requirement etc. Gays are not much different than normal humans in emotions, however marriage to “God” is blindness, emotion without any humanly output is of no use.
