What was the nastiest thing you've ever tasted?

Nasty snacks / candies, anyone?

I’d have to say the original Skittles, candy corn, and anything that uses peanuts are really, really nasty.

I also really hate these packaged tamarind pulp thingies. It’s slimy, nasty, and horribly…nasty. :stuck_out_tongue:

So, mind sharing some of your most hated snacks? Teehee Of course you don’t…

‘Spunk’ - Scandinavian sour candy…

Spunk

That is American slang for sperm.

hmm… saying the nastiest thing you’ve ever tasted was spunk… and your avatar… :astonished:

the nastiest thing i’ve ever tasted would either be mayonnaise on a cheez-it or it was the cereal i tried to invent when i was about 6 containing lucky charms, chocolate, gummy bears, and other assorted things. i guess i was thinking “well they’re all good, so mixing them would be even better!”

The nastiest things I’ve ever tasted were probably those little “pizza treats” for you dog and the jerky-type-thingies for your dog. Blech! The latter was greasy and waxy, the former chalky, greasy and waxy all at once.

Most cat food isn’t nearly as good as it looks, either.

Oh yeah, I’d put liver and lutefisk right up there, too.

I know, same in British slang. In Aussie slang a ‘spunk’ is a good looking person…

As in spunky I guess.

Diet Mountain Dew

Mountain Dew – Baja Blast

and while we’re talking about it…

Mountain Dew – Code Red

for the record though, normal Mountain Dew is one of the best things i’ve ever tasted

Agreed

Indeed, this expression does exist in English English, but isn’t as commonly used as in Australian English.

I hate the taste of Campari, which is a red Italian kind of liqueur. There is also one made out of artichokes I think and tastes much the same.

I am allergic to celery. To me it is like grass covered with battery acid. I am able to smell it across the street and if I eat it it tastes like a very hot pepper. I’m not sure that counts though, because that is a dysfunction of mine and not the real taste.

I’ve got a couple.

The first I cannot say here by reason of privacy and PC. wink.

The second one is carbonated water without a hint of sugar in it. It is like drinking bitter, ash-tasting liquid and it does something to your palate, throat, and tongue as it travels down the moment you pour it in your mouth.

Do not try the second one at home. The first, it depends.

OK, what is the PC thing?

Ad, of all people, do you really want me to spell it out? :astonished:

Carbonated water is one of those odd drinks that leaves you more thirsty than when you started…

arendt

I am in disbelief!

I assume that you are talking about a type of raw meat? If you are then that is best tried after it has been hygienically prepared. However, some restaurants serve it up differently, so try another place sometime. When it’s good I find it to be a relaxing meal akin to a nice roasted piece of beef.

I wish you luck!

That’s the most circumlocution I’ve done in a long time.

You got that right!
