I never said they were the same. I am only showing the similarities. democRATS and chamberlain… how big do you need the target to be on your forehead?

Don’t dance, Imp. Tell me what the similarities are.
I’m not dancing. read the previous post.
the whole point was to watch the left wingers jump all over the speech with flaming hatred of bush.
-Imp
I do admit I cringed reading some of the responses believing the speech to be made by Bush. I’ll admit that I didn’t know it was Churchill. I appreciate the trap you set up. That said, I don’t think much of Winston Churchill; I’d have a tough time picking a favorite between him and Bush.
Imp, the one thing that completely refutes everything you said in response to my post, obviating any need to respond in detail, is this:
“The terrorists” don’t exist.
End of story.

"We have had a great deal of bad news lately . . . and I think we shall have a great deal more. Wrapped up in all this bad news will be many tales of blunders and shortcomings, both in foresight and action. No one will pretend for a moment that disasters like these occur without there having been faults and shortcomings. I see all this rolling towards us like waves in a storm, and that is another reason why I require a formal, solemn Vote of Confidence . . .
We are beginning to see our way through. It looks as if we were in for a very bad time; but provided we all stand together, and provided we throw in the last spasm of our strength, it also looks more than it ever did before as if we were going to win. . . .
I have never ventured to predict the future. I stand by my original programme, “blood, toil, tears and sweat,†which is all I have ever offered, to which I added, five months later, “many shortcomings, mistakes, and disappointments.†But it is because I see the light gleaming behind the clouds and broadening on our path that I make so bold now as to demand a declaration of confidence from the House…"
shall we cut, run and surrender?
K: totally different times and totally different situation.
We have already lost in Iraq. There is no way to win in Iraq
and there is no good exit strategy. To reduce a totally lost situation
in Iraq to WW 2 is totally false argument because you can’t compare
the two in any way, shape or form.
Kropotkin
right.
allah allah ackbar means I love you democRAT.

good to see you again.
then where is the liberal march on washington demanding the total pull out now? michael moore will lead the charge against the democRATS who refuse to cut spending.
the best exit strategy is to finish the job

K: actually allah ackbar means “God is great”
Kropotkin
actually it means kiss your ass goodbye. what does a suicide bomber yell right before he detonates?
allah allah ackbar!
but of course it really means I love you democRAT

street corner in america against the war and this administration.
It baffles me as to why that hasn’t happened."

K: The job is finished and we have failed completely and
totally. Every day is another day of civil war in Iraq and
our army is useless in that situation and in fact if they
stay become bigger and better targets for the two factions.
Kropotkin
the only people who think the iraq war is a civil war are the lying liberals at nbc and the reporters who spread the propagandaand al qaeda lies of captain hussein…
but pull out now and have a real civil war.

Imp, just out of curiousity what do you think is really going on in Iraq? Do you think we’re winning? Do you think we’re doing a good job over there? Do you think we went over there for the right reasons? Do you simply think these things because you have to associate yourself with the Republicans?
Impenitent: good to see you again.
K: likewise. I hope my message got across.
IMP: which message was that?"
K: I think those who needed it, got it.

because the democRATS didn’t win on the anti war agenda. the democrats who were elected ran as conservatives. they read the polls and they understand that when they try the cut run and surrender bit and iraq gets occupied by iran and israel goes to war with syria and iran, the democRATS get the blame and that will ensure their victories for the next 20 years.
K: three words for ya, commander in chief. The village idiot is
still commander in chief and still makes foreign policy decisions.
The demo’s cannot make foreign policy decisions, only the
decider can. I personally hope Iran tries to occupy Iraq.
It would get rather ugly for Iran.

K: I don’t understand the question? Where?

K: yeah, that great liberal called Colin Powell called Iraq
as a “Civil war” on Nov 29, 2006.

Just so everyone is aware, a spokesperson for the AP has said they have additional sources for the mosque story, including residents that live nearby, and that reporters have visited the mosque in question and verified that the assault did take place.
As for cutting and running, the Nazis were trying to invade England, people tend to doubt that Iraq was capable of invading the United States.
Exactly. It would not be like the French surrendering to the Germans in 1940, but would better resemble the Germans changing their minds and deciding not to invade France after all.
If that’s really your view of war – that we should engage in it any time we can – why should anyone take you seriously?
You may enjoy your own freedom, but it’s quite obvious you have no use for anyone else’s.
I’m with Navigator…I find that statement to be pretty disturbing. Just because we have the power to do something doesn’t necessarily make it the right thing to do. And might I add, we invaded Iraq on false evidence, something that the media definitley downplayed. Hmm…sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.
