When Our Mind Is Not Heavily Occupied...

does the unconcious mind come into dominance? If so, I really tend to think that the unconcious could be really powerful. Just before I fell asleep or wake up, I come up with thoughts and ideas that I struggled the whole day attempting to come up with.

Meditation classes… I wonder if they could be helpful to philosophiers. They are hepful to the monks in the east anyway.

That Happens to me too…

Let’s not bother talking of when I dream of discussing with wittgenstein ;___;’

Too much Emoticons?

Why not, I thought that belongs to the criteria of a philosophical disscusion?

yeah happens to me too…i wonder…what’s the relationship between the conscious and unconscious mind, if there is one at all. im not really too good on my psych knowledge.

I like emoticons è_é

If you ask people to draw two circles - one within the other - ther inner one represeting the sub-concsious and the outer one representing concsciousness, most people will draw somthing looking like a pea in thelean apple.

This is not surprising, since subjectively - by definition - we know our conscious mind but not or sub-concsious.

If I were to draw the realtionship between the two I would make concsciousness no more that the skin on the apple - the apple would be the sub-concscious.

YOu may not agree with me, but what if I am right? Your subconscious is vast - tap into it!

i think an interesting thing about smoking pot is how, after the initial highness and into the grogginess that follows, the subconscious starts taking control of a lot more things, and you barely even notice.

for example, when playing two of my video games, savage, a melee combat game with sword swinging battles, and need for speed, im just plain better at it while post-stoned groggy. i will barely be paying any attention, mostly watching tv or something, and ill realize im destroying the enemy and getting a new record, without even trying!

if i had been concentrating, i would have done worse. when i concentrate, it takes time to analyze and think about it. when its a reflex, somebody else inside my head does that analysis for me in a fraction of the time.

the thing is, reflexes arent just animal instincts that only apply to flinching away from something in fear or not eating poop. reflexes are learned, they are no more than superfast replicas of the analysis and reaction we would consciously create with concentration in place of reflex.

in order to sucessfully practice melee combat in savage: battle for newerth, you have to dodge the enemy, and swoop into his newly created weak spot, and then time your swing to bash him at the exact second. when you first get into the game, its freakin hard, and when you get the hang of it, you feel like the man. the thing is, its complicated, it took me a while to learn, and i can do it purely by reflex without really paying attention. same goes for lots of things.

smoke pot, then when your tired afterwards, test out your reflexive subconscious.

I am Wittgenstein.

It’s all about art there is where you can unlock your subconscious that’s why art brings out emotions in people without actually showing something through simple lines and shapes you can convey inner wants and needs of and individual
And by art I don’t just mean pictures but all forms of art music, movies, and so on

Free your mind what you have been taught isn’t always true and you don’t need the drugs to do it
