My wife is working class like me. She’s really big into fantasy fiction type stuff.

The trick is to finding a working class woman who don’t view men as a walking talking paycheck. They’re out there, just very hard to find.

Make sure the woman likes you for who you are and not just what you can provide for them. That makes the biggest difference right there.
